The tanks are something of a new addition to the game. Missions still need to be put together by the server operators. In time, and with more tanks available, I'd bet there will be more servers with more missions including tanks.

Tank game is in early access...you paid for an early access game. Once the game gets a wider release. we'll be seeing much more content. A lot of mission builders are really excited.

Pretty sure there are some servers that allow tanks, but a bunch are down for maintenance to implement some hotfixes to clear up some bugs introduced by the last patch.

Action Dogfights and Tanks has tanks on their server. I think the Unprofessionals has some too. But with only 4 tanks to work with I wouldn't expect much, yet.

Salutations,

 

You paid for early access to assets from a not finished Tank Crew game. It is a work in progress. You will receive more drivable armored vehicles as they are developed for the game.

 

Individual Servers need to add tanks...some have, some haven't. There was just a major patch to the IL2 game which included Tank Crew. Such large patches often create problems for prior missions and server setups. Things will get stabilized soon.

At this time, perhaps 5% of the planned features in Tank Crew are available. Nobody is willing to play online when only two somewhat-complete tanks can be driven.

 

Expect activity to increase substantially in some months as the final release nears.

Irony? - We have already two years playable tanks what is really new is that the two tanks look now from inside good too and the best still for free! Tank Crew just extend this direction with more content for what you need to pay for.

There are always a few servers that are high populated

MP for the entire game is poked atm but the Flying Ass Clowns server is stable and has tanks.

Before you get overwhelmed by all the standard toxic community backlash for speaking anything against the devs or game heist. Know that the servers don't update missions very often. So try a few of the servers mentioned above. I wouldn't expect to many servers to have tank missions for awhile because the content of tank crew is new. For everyone else trying to "you should've known" him, you are the reason people leave and dislike this community. How about we try to assist people in understanding the current limitations instead of making butt hats of yourselves all the time.

To be fair after looking at TC in the store, apart from the banner on the picture saying early access, it is actually very misleading if you do not follow the fourm. It does not mention that only 2 tanks are out and it does not say that the map isn't complete. ........ it  just says it's goals and not what is currently available. 

 

It should have a bigger bolder disclaimer. 

 

Go read it like you have never read the fourm.

 

EDIT after reading it one more time it is extremely misleading. They need to change that. The title should at least contain EARLY ACCESS.

 Ah, there ya go, right there. Contains....not WILL contain. Yeah, I can see how someone who doesn't visit the forums would mistakenly buy this thinking they were getting a completed game.

Yup very misleading.

 

It should say "will contain" or "we aim to contain".

 

There is no clear warning on the store of what the purchase will give you NOW apart from "early access" on the picture which is very ambiguous. I do worry that people that are not following the forum will be mislead. 

 

I love this franchise but that is just plain wrong and maybe illegal in the UK at least! @Jason_Williams please have a look at this, Im sure it is an over sight but It does really need to be corrected with a bigger warning of what is available currently.

 

At the bare minimum you would need something saying "THIS IS IN EARLY ACCESS please follow the link to the DD for more information. Do not make a purchase until you understand this".....

 

The only real statement/disclosure about early access that I can find is this at the end 

 

"Buy now and take advantage of our Early Access discount ($10 OFF) and Early Access program - operate these armored beasts as soon as they are ready!"   6 Words at the very end is the only real warning.

It does not really inform a customer about anything or maybe more importantly advice them on where to go to find out how it will be completed, but maybe it is the sentence needed to make it legal but if that is the case it is not very clear because all of the proceeding text does not say that it is not ready. Hmm this is very reminiscent of the recent PR backlash caused by a background issue regarding key venders. The issue was not very clear up front to the customer within the store/website. Thanks for noticing this and I hope 1C better defines what the game contains at it's current $70 price tag.
