indiaciki Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 La-5 (series ? La-5FN series 2 Yak-1b Ju 52/Зm any suggestions?
RedKestrel Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Yak1b is probably suitable for a wider array of online scenarios. The La5fn is the vvs best performer so grab that if you want to be able to shock Luftwaffe pilots...but it only shows up late war.
Voidhunger Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 La5FN but its available only at the end in the kuban career. La5/F is good, but you need some skill. So Yak 1b is a fine plane, easy to fly.

I’d go with the Yak-1b as well, it’s definitely the one you’ll get the most use out of. But, if you have any interest in it at all, the Ju 52 is not a bad option either. It opens the door to some very unique gameplay options in both SP and MP. It is a one-of-a-kind experience in this sim. 1
indiaciki Posted July 27, 2018 Author Posted July 27, 2018 (edited) yak1b or La5 or La5 FN? which one would you recomend? for MP Edited July 27, 2018 by indiaciki
Finkeren Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Yak-1b. The La-5FN is a better fighter, but you’ll get far more out of the Yak.

LLv24_SukkaVR Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Ju-52, because three engines is better than just one. 1
CrazyDuck Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Well, the answer depends on what are your wishes and/or fighting style. 1. If you prefer close range 1v1 dogfighting, go for Yak-1B. Also, I'd prefer it on external views enabled servers. Simply one of the best low to med alt dogfighters of WW2 - it's faster and more maneouverable than 109 in most cases at low altitudes. Plus has a lot better view out of the cockpit (to the rear in particular). 2. However, if you prefer cold blooded boom and zoom quick ambush kills with not so much dogfighting, go for La-5FN, especially on locked cockpit servers (where enemy is far less likely to see you coming). It's somewhat less maneouverable, but faster and has better guns with more ammo than Yak-1B. It's also better suited for bomber intercepting. 1
-TBC-AeroAce Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 All lol but if you are new to combat sims get the yak 1b
THERION Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 7 hours ago, indiaciki said: La-5 (series ? La-5FN series 2 Yak-1b Ju 52/Зm any suggestions? Well, if you can afford - buy them all, you won't regret it at all! But if you are more of a fighter pilot, I'd suggest to have go with the La-5FN or Yak-1B. And if you really want some thrilling challenge then take the JU52/3m - a wonderful crate. You need some guts to opt for a transport mission on a MP server were there are a lot of hostile lone wolves waiting for an easy prey. It's absolutely great and I love it! Cheerio
-TBC-AeroAce Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 @-IRRE-Therion crate is the under statement of the year lol.

Sorry, I know - in German language this plane is also nicknamed "Tante Ju" which means aunt Ju. In Switzerland we still have 3 of them flyable and you can see her regularly in the sky for some Alps sightseeing tours. The sound of those three radial engines cannot be mistaken - it's like a Super Constellation, big big sound.
