GOA_Walter_Nowotny Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Hello pilots, After created a mission in ME, why the game says "mission accomplished, return to base", if I'm following a waypoint? This does not always happen to me but sometimes it tells me. I thought maybe I did not go through the waypoint and that's why it tells me, but I tried a command at the next waypoint and it activated, so I'm correctly following the waypoints. Iám doing some wrong? Thanks
Sketch Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 When does it say "Mission Accomplished"? At the flight report page after the mission is over? What MCU are you using to get mission complete; just trigger end mission or something else?

Hi Sketch, thank you, sometimes at 5 minutes after take off, other time during the flight (following route). For mission complete?, nothing, only Translator Mission Objetive at plane landed successfully. I never use MCU Mission End because, I think is for cooperative mission (is correct or no?). Only use MCU Mission Begin Salute!
Sketch Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 (edited) So I understand, the mission is ending and giving you "Mission Accomplished, return to base!", sometimes at 5 mins, sometimes following the route, but never when you want it too? On page 93 of the Mission Editor Manual: You can stop a mission, which results in the following: • In a singleplayer mission, the mission list screen is displayed. • In a multiplayer mission, the mission statistics screen is displayed. Do the following: 1. Place mission end translators (pg. 278) at convenient locations near the MCUs or objects that you want to trigger the end of the mission. 2. Trigger each mission end translator with a target link from the nearby MCU or a message link from the nearby object. Edited July 21, 2018 by [TWB]Sketch

Maybe I express myself badly with my English, the mission does not end in itself, but the voice of the airbase speaks to me and tells me to return to the base. I can continue with the mission and there is no problem other than the voice from the base.
Sketch Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I don't have an answer for you. Maybe I can see the mission file? The in-game radio chatter is pretty annoying and there have been multiple petitions to get it disabled (either via server admins, or mission designers).

Thanks Coconut, I thought the same thing, also the air base says the same to AI and they ignore that request and continue their mission. I wanted to make sure I was possibly doing something wrong with some command, but it's a bug apparently 9 hours ago, [TWB]Sketch said: I don't have an answer for you. Ckeck: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nqqh12bvkyb3x0s/Fly expert missions.rar?dl=0 Summary mission start: Wait for takeoff notice (You are Falcon1). Take off and fly over the base until the 3 Focke Wulf takeoff. Then follow mission behind them. The completed mission notice and return to base should appear a while after that (I hope ...) * PS: This mission is designed to be flown without the map gps and the screen compass.
Sketch Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I looked over it and it doesn't seem like you have any MCU triggering planes to return home unexpectedly. I agree with @coconut, the in-game radio chatter is annoying; just ignore it.
GOA_Walter_Nowotny Posted July 21, 2018 Author Posted July 21, 2018 I have added two 109g6 that after take off cover my squad and when the radio chatter tell mission ended, return to base, the 109 stop cover me and return to base, 5-6 minutes after take off.
