Thad Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Salutations, Very enjoyable video. I loved your decision making process. "Shall I fly home... uh oh, out of fuel.... I'll land here". Brilliant. ?

Thad Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 It only takes one shell to kill a pilot. Kill the pilot... destroy the plane. ?

CountZero Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Nice fun video, your better then most players online, good decision making, SA and good aim. When outnumbered, like red side is usealy, one hit gun makes big differance to get ods in your favor 1

The 23mm isn't consistently like this. And even then a few of my kills were just smoked engines (an MG will one shot an engine too). It's still a lot nicer to use than the 20mm when we're outnumbered but I often hear complaints about it being OP, a title it certainly doesn't deserve. 1

They're to help the viewers see things if not watching in 1080p - and even in 1080p youtube's compression makes it harder to see things.
=EXPEND=Tripwire Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 A nice to have feature for VR replays would be a viewpoint stabiliasation on/off switch and an eye position select for recording in 2D after the fact. In VR your eyes and head stabilise the image. Out of VR no such capability exists. It is very cool to see the viewpoint from VR and it's fluidity vs the staleness of TIR in comparison but currently it looks fairly jittery. I guess you could rerecord your head position, but it's not the same as a heat of the moment corner of your eye split second spot, or seeing those crosshairs of the gunfight line up fluidly over the target.

unreasonable Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 Enjoyed watching this one, nice narrative and a sense of humour. For first video, especially, well done. 1

I guess you could rerecord your head position, but it's not the same as a heat of the moment corner of your eye split second spot, or seeing those crosshairs of the gunfight line up fluidly over the target. The main issue I see is that it isn't recording my head movements at 60/90fps. It seems to record them in bursts. This makes it look even more jittery than my actual head movements. That's why I sometimes switch to 3rd person view (especially if I was paranoid and looking around) or just didn't include sections where it was too jittery. A small increase in the rate of head position/rotation recording would go a long way, and boy would it be nice to have the right eye be considered central in replays!
