falle96 Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 The title more or less says it all. I paused the game, alt-tabbed so I could switch from speakers to my headphones, and then re-tabbed back into the game. The game is responsive - I can open up menus, change keybindings, the whole nine yards. What I can't seem to do is force the game to unpause... I actually have the game still running right now, I don't want to lose all of my progress, so hopefully someone can help me sort it out! Alright, decided to quit because it wasn't unpausing. It didn't really want to do that either, had to prompt a restart of my computer to finally close the program. Odd.
RedKestrel Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Are you playing in Full Screen mode or windowed mode? What other software do you have running? I used to have issues with Alt-Tabbing when using full screen mode. I use windowed mode now and it no longer gives me grief, though I never had this specific issue.

It happened two years ago - best as I remember, it was a career mission. Something about changing the audio output seemed to have caused the game to hitch and hard, but I don't remember much beyond that. Apologies, I had forgotten this had even happened were it not for the notification!

I am having this issue right now. So far it seems to have only happened in career missions. It has only started up fairly recently for me. It's probably an irrelevant detail but I've noticed it only happens when I customize my aircraft in the hangar just before the mission.
