Cannot get Missions I have downloaded to show in Missions ?

Jade,  I can't believe I did not try this before, but I downloaded your missions again and just moved the .msnbin file for the 109 Strafing mission and it works like a charm.  You did good, I just missed it!  Sorry I am slow on the uptake and worked with old downloads all this while.  Thanks for all you do.

I've got Jade Monkey's missions back! By following his advice I deleted every file in his mission folder except the MSBN ones and they now ALL work...albeit with no mission description.This is soooo strange as I had to delete MSBN files from other 3rd party missions to get them to work! I wonder if this would sork in non functioning scripted campaigns like THE BUTCHER?

I think Jade Monkey is at work on "The Butcher".   In the scripted missions topic he said he has work to do to get it working.  I hope he can, it is one of the best scripted campaigns I have seen.

I know this is an old topic, but I'm having the same problem here. I can't see custom missions in my game, I'm using the mission generator from Vander. I've tried everything, not only stuff posted here, to no avail

• See "Cannot Find a Mission in the IL-2 Sturmovik Singleplayer Missions List" on pg. 183 of the editor manual.
• Do you own the plane or map used in the mission?
• Do you have multiple installs of IL-2 Sturmovik?
• Is there a non-ASCI character in your mission name or mission description?

• I've already tried deleting cache files, at least twice, and it didn't work. 
• About the plane... yes, the plane. It could be. The map is Stalingrad, and I definitely have it, but I don't know about the player plane. As I said, the only missions not showing so far come from Vander's Easy Mission Generator, and I can't check on which plane I spawn unless I play it, (or edit it, I guess?).
• I don't have multiple installs.
• I gave one of the missions to Vander and he could open it without any issue, the name definitely don't have any non-ASCII character, and so neither should the description

So yeah, it's probably the plane. I'll see if I can check what plane the missions generate

i do not know if this is the cause of the problem,but I hope it maybe be a help.

maybe some of the old missions do not have the extra CHS files so they do not work I have no idea

 

The .CHS file is a Chinese language file that stores things like the mission description, on-screen messages, etc.
