VBF-12_Lobo Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Not working for me no matter what. Crossfire works in FurMark, Rise of Flight, IL2 CLoD but not IL2 BoX. I've tried about every config permutation in AMD Settings and BoX. BoX version: 3.001 OS: Windows 7 SP1 AMD Drivers: 18.2.1 GPUs: 7870 (primary) & 7850 Monitored using Afterburner w/ Riva Statistics Server If yes, please post working config. I'll happily downgrade drivers or tweak whatever to get Crossfire working! Thanks!
Traz Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Its never worked, even when they said it was suppose to. I've tried everything, changing profiles, to AFR compatibility and such. Nothing works. radeon 7970's
Krau Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Does it work on 3.008? The issue is that Sapphire Radeon RX 590 is only 10% - 15% faster than RX 580. For that price it is possible to buy 2 RX 580.
tki52 Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) all lastest version here, 2xvega64 8g, i7-4790k etc ... 60fps at 6400*1080 ultra on triple monitor eyefinity with single or double card thanks to driver overlay (alt-r) I check second gpu stay unused ingame while first card go to 70-80degree with very BIG noise. But which crossfire dx11 compatibilty!!! this is a non-compliant product make people spend money on hardware with their misleading advertising. I say this because apparently it's a long time that it doesn't work. seems to be kidding us to counter this commercial choice we can boycott the product with negative publicity on all platforms. Our strength is the number. As an alternative they either fix or declare the product not compatible with crossfire !! We customers are always rightand they're kidding us from launcher -support ->> Game setup and settings FAQ 10) I have a SLI/Crossfire system in my PC but it does not seem to improve performance. SLI and Crossfire are temporarily disabled in the game. Also they must be turned off in the driver settings before playing. post 18/november 2013!! temporarily disabled !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited March 24, 2019 by tki52 updated info
tki52 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Now I have recontrolled all systems and found problems with update audio driver Creative that not work.. (s.blaster z) solved with manual, and I have updated today video AMD driver to adrenaline 2019 -19.4.1 using clean installation. first result at 6400*1080 .. min 110-130 max 206 fps:)? at balanced setting in game with minimal working configuration and no limit fps driver/game conf. This with SINGLE radeon Vega 64 8g. Next weeks I'll try to find best setting for my actual conf. So clear I solved root problem (please note I have upgraded video cards from fury to vega) but remain the optimization for vcard noise. With AMD driver "wattman" I can manul adjust noise/performance/temp and this may satisfy most users, me not. if crossfire worked as stated , the video cards noise automatic go down because the 2 cards coworking. so it is not, for a commercial matterI don't find it right at all.
Norz Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Any update for a CrossFire configuration? I use currently AMD Vega56 and the performance is not good enough for online servers (2560x1440, 70..74Hz monitor). Will be great to invest 100..150€ into RX580 to get +10..20 fps (to get stable 75Hz online)
Traz Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Its Sept 2019. Any news on Crossfire working? Looking to try a 7990 with a 7970 for triple crossfire.
Hnoznesky Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 Still doesn’t work found out the hard way after downloading on Sunday night. So my 2x 5850 is now a single 5850 but still runs fine.
