BOK Trailer

Will we have before the official release of BOK, a nice trailer, that displays all the goodies?

I know it is a lot of work to do that, but to keep the public drooling that's a must.

Not exactly what you were asking for but I've been planning on doing some sort of Battle of Kuban related trailer once patch 3.001 comes out and I've had some time with the content.

 

Although I think what I really want to do is a kind of "love letter" to the whole series and given that 3.001 touches on just about everything... that's probably about right. I'm guessing this will take me some time to sort through though.

Well I was saying from the beginning that I think the original il2 bos trailer should be done with game engine instead of cinematic additions.. promoting what the real game is.....awesome!

Now with the addition of 3.001 coming the sky is the limit!  I cant wait to see what beautiful contraptions our community will create...

My favorite trailer for BoX is still "Fly". A Kuban trailer in a similar fashion but given like 30 more seconds would do the trick I think.

It's a bit late, but they should've done a trailer video competition in the beta tester community, like the screenshot contest they did a few years back. 

 

The sim is so beautiful, that doing a cinematic trailer will be completely wasted.

Excellent, the right mix of action,  Jade_Monkey. What software did you use to capture the game screen to build the video?

I used the Nvidia shadowplay to capture the video. I was replaying a recorded track without HUD.

I used Cyberlink Power Director for editing.

I think we can use text chat since you can record and remove chat and all UI éléments after.

Hopefully they won’t do those animated trailers like Stalingrad and Moscow used.  They were more appropriate to a mobile phone app and did nothing to promote the detail and complexity of the game.  If they had been my first introduction to the series I would have dismissed it out of hand.

WOW JM!  The music score nails it. Beautifully Done The bar is set reeeeal high for any future trailers.
