I fear I didn't understand, can you explain me? From PWCG you can use only a pilot at time (using a fixed code inside PWCG files). By the way it would be possible to sync two pilots in case of coop campaing... Do you refer to this? This feature is not fully developed but I can work on it. Please let me know.

Yes, I wanted to sync 2 or more pilots from the same campaign just so I can have both me and my friends in the same logbook.

I registered and created a character. I downloaded the Sync Tool which seems like a great idea. This found my PWCG character without a problem but does not recognise the character within Logbook that I freshly created. What might be the reason for this?

Hi Madov,

Are you sure you have chosen right allegiance? I noticed many users chose USAF instead of USAAF for instance. USAF is for modern US Air Force, USAAF is for WWII US Army Air Force. Which allegiance have you selected?

I will go back and check it but I am sure it was VVS, yes it is VVS and I tried the Sync Tool again and it says that no characters are available. Strange.

There are 2 VVS

VVS SSSR (Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik aka USSR) -> for the WWII

VVS -> post 1991

 

If you are flying IL2 you should chose VVS SSSR...

Mea culpa, imbecilicus sum. I had not realized that during WWII the VVS was not the full name of the air  service. Thank you for the explanation and I look forward to enjoying this logbook.

The Sync Tool works great. One thing I have noticed is that the Order of Glory 1st Class medal does not seem to show up, though it was awarded within PWCG. Apart from that everything is great, many thanks.

Hi Ansirial, it would be not bad if you can add to loogbook a pie chart showing how many time a pilot was wounded or killed. More, do you think would be possible to set the kills pie chart for showing what kind of target and number of that?

You can enter any event manually, I don't understand what you mean for career files. By manually I mean you can fully use web interface to input anything.

Can you try now? The problem was you get too many awards and this was creating a bug, now the limit multiplied by 10 times, this should do the trick.

Hi Trotsky, this feature is avalaible but at the moment is hidden, my provider has limited space and I fear this will fill server incrementing host cost.

I will evaluate to make avalaible this feature in the future but under a sort of subscrition fee.

With this option you will now search and find other pilots and squadrons to join.

Next update will include development of this feature including, contact details and search options for finding mates and hiring squadrons.

Hi everybody!

The 3.0 is out, it includes a lot of new features, here main ones:

• New user attributes such connection channels, language, timezone and platforms used;
• Wingman finder and hiring squadrons search matching own preferences;
• Improved user calendar with platform and pilot reference;
• New virtual squadron calendar and squadron events;
• New virtual squadrons attributes such bulletin board and motto;
• Improved virtual squadron hiring options and integrated join request;
• Added unlogged flight time record.

All these features required a lot of time I really hope you will enjoy it and this can became a new channel to find mates to fly with.

Please give some time for all the actual user to fill new attributes in order to make search engines work good.

I recently started flying in IL-2 after a hiatus of 1+ years and I was wondering if your tool now properly syncs pilots from the same PWCG campaign.

For example, I have a LW campaign in PWCG that I fly with 3 other friends (each with their own pilot) and I want to sync all 4 pilots (mine and theirs) in the app. Is this possible?

Hi Rick, there is a hidded feature that should make this possibile, do you have the pilot code of your friends too? PWCG works with a pilot code, when you play alone this code is fixed, if you play as coop multiple different codes are in use.

Welcome back Ansirial! Unfortunately, I still can't figure out exactly how to sync other pilots from the same campaign in PWCG.

As for the error, I fixed it. Had one folder in the PWCG campaign folder that shouldn't have been there.

Forget it, Ansirial. I opened cp.db file with SQLite Database Browser Portable and I saw no kind of airplanes are in the database, so is impossible to determine wich plane was... Pity...

Hello Ansirial, for your information, when I update my missions on my logbook profile, it no recognize some missions type (unknow mission type).

To be precise:

• Attack Beachhaead --> code 1216
• Support defense --> code 1302

It doesn't recognize also Bf.109G-6 "Late". In this case I must to edit the mission manually.

 

Hope this helps to improve your amazing Logbook.
