No problem, solved! It happened because seems you delete the ranks of your Raf pilot, I need to create a rule that block this. Starting Rank need to be added manually. By the way now all is OK!

Hi, just added signature function (you shoud see it below the message), to generate the dynamic link here the steps:

  1. Login to logbook;
  2. Set your user as public (otherwise the signature image will not show);
  3. To complete public abilitation process please reenter your password twice;
  4. Now, below sharing links, you should able to see the signature link;
  5. Click on the link to retrive the URL for the signature

The image is dynamic, it changes with last character you update in the platform.

Hello Ansirial,

 

was just wondering what files would be needed getting uploaded to your server in order to get hold of multiplayer stats of e.g. a dogfight mission. Is there a way to implement this to your IL2GB Logbook Sync as well?

Hi Genosse, 

I don't know much of MP but I looked around a little: 

 

- I think while doing a flight a log is generated, the same log used by Pat Wilson CG, probably this should be parsed in order to collect data, but I think this would be very messy because logs are not totally distinguishables (Test flights, MP, SP...) so how can be associated to a specific character? 

 

- Another way, especially to get more "historical" data, would be a parser of stats websites such TAW, It would be very simple to parse even if this is not the right way to collect data. In this way you can "link" you user id and system will dump programatically whole history. But in this way if there are many stat servers with many interfaces would be a lot of work and would be a shame to connect only from one specific server (what would be best server to start with??). 

 

To be honest, I have some difficult to know what can be best mode for the user, if someone can give me a clue a would be very happy to integrate this.

You are welcome Genosse, so the answer could be a log parser... Or input data manually, this can be done, for my rise of flight pilots I do so.

Hi Dan,

I gave a look and I found a bug. You enabled public user without any character. I will fix this but for now I manually disabled public visibility for your user.

You can now login correctly.

To enable public visibility please first create a character.

Hi everybody!

I nearly completed PWCG for WWII compatibility works.

 

But, as I don't play regularly with this mode, I have some difficulties to link some functions.

 

Somebody playing this mode regularly can please share with me his "Campaign" folder under "PWCGBoS" main directory?

This would make me able to complete work in few hours and release a fairly stable product; otherwise I need to do a lot of fake flights to recreate all the conditions.

Hi everybody!

Just released an update of the Sync App.

Version 2.7 includes:

- Compatibility with PWCG for IL2GB (plase select proper platform for your character);

- Added automatic planes record (for future statistic page);

- Minor bugfixes.

About the list, are you sure you chose the correct platform under character settings?

Yes, the problem was the following:

When selecting "IL-2 Great Battles (PWCG)" as the platform, PWCG pilots are not recognized by the software downloaded on the PC. However, if you select "IL-2 Great Battles" as the platform both IL-2 Career and IL-2 PWCG pilots show up on the lists and you can do the syncing.

Another issue detected:

For the pilot James Green used in PWCG the software recognized 60 ground targets destroyed. However, this pilot only has 20 ground victories in the PWCG logs.

Thanks for your report. I just released an update.

2.8 includes fixes for your reports, now all should work much better.

For your character simply delete sorties and resync.

Just tested the log book app for the first time. I got the following errors in the log:

These are probably due to the fact that this pilot was created with a bit older version of PWCG (8.0.0) and the medal names have changed since. It would be great to be able to import him in any case.

 

PB.jpg = Pilot's Badge

BWB.jpg = Black Wound Badge

IC2.jpg = Iron Cross 2nd class

IC1.jpg = Iron Cross 1st class

GCG.jpg = German Cross Gold

 

Never mind, opened the campaign in the new PWCG and everything got converted by PWCG to the latest data ?

But there's another question, when I import character logs from PWCG data my rank and promotions are not taken into account. Is this the expected behaviour?

Hi Nadelbaum, 

expected but not desired, I don't have documentation about promotions on PWCG, if you have an example (your campaign folder in PWCGBoS) I will plan to implement integration.

Promotions and rank instead are working on IL2GB stock careers.

Here you go! At the same time I realized that getting wounded and being on leave is not recorded either. Maybe you are able to extract that information as well from my campaign.

I love this Logbook Program, what a Great idea. But I'm not able to sync up with IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad.  Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.
