Hey Tip, noticed a very minor issue, the Allied Rhineland airfield registers as Soviet, so all the Aircraft have Russian voices. I like having all the aircraft available for giggles, but American/British voices would probably be more appropriate. 

 

Other than that it seems to be working great! I got a Dserver just for these missions, I've flown a few sorties and the mission generation seems to work without a hitch!

Not a biggie Mtnbiker and glad you're having a good time with the mission. I'll be needing to add the P-51B/C shortly as well as adding it to the Axis version in any event. Will change the airfield over at that time.

Hello @[DBS]Tx_Tip!! 

Thank you very much for the excellent missions.  They have provided hours of fun for my small group (of two players).

I've been researching a problem I've been having with the missions with no luck, so I thought I would ask here.  I'm not sure if it's a problem with your mission or some unrelated thing, but maybe you know the answer.  In the random Rhineland missions, I'm finding that some but not all of the Normandy aircraft have some or all of their modifications locked.  The Mosquito has all mods locked, the FW-190 A6 has some of its ground attack modifications locked, and same with the P-51 B IIRC.  Have you heard of any modification locking shenanigans in multiplayer?   I'm running a non dedicated game session, and all files are deployed in the multiplayer dogfight folder.  I have all of expansions and a few of the collector's planes if that helps.

I did some digging in the mission editor and found the fields for skins, mods, and payloads were blank for some planes at the airfield.  I changed those entries to be like some others, but I could not find the actual list of modifications for the new planes.  Changing them to 0..20, 0..10, 0..100 respectively and saving the mission didn't seem to have any effect... which is not really surprising since I have no idea what I'm doing lol.

Actually, that is the SoP to make sure that all the weapons and engine scenarios are available. Additionally, I took a look to make sure that the aircrafts Weapon Mods "None" and Payload ID's are still set to default.

I played both the Allied and Axis Rhineland Randoms within the Games server software and all the aircrafts weapons were available.

Unless in the Fw190 for example when selected as directed: 

Installation of MG 17 only available when Fw 190A-6 Sturmjager or Fw 190 G-3/R-5 selected.

 

*You may have already checked this but make sure that under your server Dogfight Conditions that no "Locks" for Weapon Mods or Payload are checked.

That was the issue!  Since only one aircraft was completely locked out, I didn't think to check the server settings.  Those fields being blank maybe played no factor at all.  Thank you for the support even though the error was on my side!  It's much appreciated :)

My buddy and I couldn’t get Market Garden Phase 2 to complete. We took out all the tanks and enemies in the city and on the riverside. But the tank objectives never completed. 
 

We completed all the others: fighter sweep, airdrop, and artillery emplacement. 

 

The barges never finished coming to the docks either. They just froze on the river.

First of well done on getting to the 82nd Airbourne Waal River crossing.

 

The good news: 

I checked the logic and that the barges were activated and ready cruise down to their landing denotes that you indeed completed the air and ground objectives as well as driving to the Waal landing spot as this happened.

 

1) Kronenburger Park Lines Destroyed. Objective Met... and 2) a 1 hour Failsafe to set conditions for this HUD message below:

"Attention Coldstream Guards! Report to 82nd Airborne Encampment for River Crossing Support. (Sector 1017 kp.1)" which also sets Icons up for that location.

 

The bad news:

Apparently after one or another recent update there is no longer any depth to the river at that point.  Barges, LCA's ect...  now run aground in the middle of the Waal.

 

The other good news:

Obviously y'all can always precede to Phase 3. In the meantime, I'll have to design some other devious way to involve players in defending the landing zone without moving landing craft.

Have a good time with the Campaign and thanks for the heads-up.

S! Tx_Tip, thank you for these missions and campaigns...

I want to start an event soon with the 'Operation Market Garden mini campaign' with three stages.
The only thing that I saw when I tested the stage 1 and stage 2, the yellow message that are shown in the bottom center... seems' to be a bit fast for us to view and read.
I would like to know if this could be modified, and if you don't have time for this...
If you would mind if I try to modify those subtitles inside the 3 stages missions files.

Again, a big thanks for all this great work... we really love our first test round with stage 1 and 2!

ps: the bug with the barges in stage 2, is it resolve or they do not cross the river?

Won’t be back to do any adjustments or additions for a couple weeks still. So certainly adjust what y’all need to make them readable to suit your needs.

So as far as the Waal River drought. No change.

hi @[DBS]Tx_Tip, we are loving your missions! lately me and some friends of mine have been playing on the Rhineland Random Dogfight, and we would like to try to create similar ones, maybe with other maps or weather conditions, could you explain how you created them? or direct me to some guides? I tried EMG, but it doesn't seem to have the same result

Yes. The MCU 'Translation Subtitle' Duration can be set to how ever many seconds you wish to have that HUD last.

 

For instance:

Allied Random Rhineland DF mission Subtitle HUDs are located in Sector 1217

Axis Random Rhineland DF mission Subtitle HUDs are located in Sector 2220

Kerch Random DF mission Subtitle HUDs are located in Sector 0611

Stalingrad Random DF mission Subtitle HUDs are located in Sector 1024

 

All the above DF missions 'Translation Subtitle' HUDs are set to a 20 second duration. You would need to change all 5 of the random missions HUDs within the sectors noted.

Sure.

Players need to be spawned in and either in the air or sitting on the runway to see the HUDs when they start. Additionally, although I may have forgotten this aspect with regards to HUDs, I don't believe Players well see them when looking at the Map even if spawned in.
