Geleitzug Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 As a loyal Habs fan, I see nothing wrong with this. Go Habs go ! 1
lightswitch Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) Calgary, Alberta here. And BOO HABS. GO FLAMES! Edited December 9, 2017 by lightswitch 1
Wulf Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I just don't get this. I thought we had a fixed cap on the number of Canadians permitted in the game?? So ... have we simply dispensed with the rules now? So anarchy rules? It's like I'm on crazy pills or such.... Next thing, there'll be Australians banging on the door. Ugh!!
SYN_Mike77 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I'm a hockey fan. Does that count? (Go Blues!)
Beazil Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 From the forgotten Territories, Yukon. We have a Yukon now? Huh.
Tuesday Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 If you want an old town try Quebec City. Great atmosphere, great food, music at night, history, and nobody speaks English (at least they didn't twenty five years ago) The city has certainly tried to erase its English history, but those of us here will certainly remember it! 13 September 1759, great date Lucky to live here!
WWCraven Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 We have a Yukon now? Huh. Yup, terrible place, too many mountains, lakes, wildlife, fishing, hardly any people, just terrible 3
1_Robert_ Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Vancouver Isalnd here. Little to no snow in the winter
CanadaOne Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Yup, terrible place, too many mountains, lakes, wildlife, fishing, hardly any people, just terrible I wanna go back! I loved it there, came within an inch of buying a house on Lake Laberge.
Wedgewood Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Vancouver Isalnd here. Little to no snow in the winter It's always been my dream to live there but I've heard BC stands for "bring cash". Is living there really as expensive as they say?
CanadaOne Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 It's always been my dream to live there but I've heard BC stands for "bring cash". Is living there really as expensive as they say? If you live anywhere near Vancouver, you best have loads of cash, that's for sure.
JimTM Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Go Habs go ! ...and come back Expos, come back! (and go Jays go...next year...please!) 3
=CFC=Conky Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I play and coach hockey. So, I'm almost Canadian. Sorry HerrMurf, you didn't say 'sorry' in your post so no, you are not even close to being Canadian . Eh?
1_Robert_ Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 It's always been my dream to live there but I've heard BC stands for "bring cash". Is living there really as expensive as they say? Buying a house in Vancouver and some parts of the island and mainland is nearly impossible now due to prices. Renting is pretty much equally impossible in those markets as well. I got lucky and got into the market 13 years ago before the big boom. Great place to live though.
Tuesday Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 If you live anywhere near Vancouver, you best have loads of cash, that's for sure. Unless you work for a company that has a condo! Lived in Vancouver for a couple years before the boom - it was great.
=SqSq=Sulaco Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Vancouver Isalnd here. Little to no snow in the winter Same here! I'm in Vic. Does it still count as Canada if we have palm trees?
WWCraven Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Same here! I'm in Vic. Does it still count as Canada if we have palm trees? Sorry, but no. You need this white stuff so your dog can show her latest footwear fashion
Lusekofte Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I was a sailor once . Up the lakes on east side and Vancouver on the west side. The houses and nature looked like Norway , got home sick. Very nice. Quebeck was a plesant suprice
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Sorry HerrMurf, you didn't say 'sorry' in your post so no, you are not even close to being Canadian . Eh? Bwahahahahaha!
Harfang Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Another near Montreal here ! Go Habs Go ! Edited December 10, 2017 by Harfang
hames123 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 This burst of Canadianess is very strange, sorry. What are the chances that there are so many Canadians here? Maybe they go online to speak to someone, it must be awefully lonely there. Sorry.

CanadaOne Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Maybe they're just trying to get us all in one place. I hear the theme from The Godfather playing somewhere...
ShamrockOneFive Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Maybe they're just trying to get us all in one place. I hear the theme from The Godfather playing somewhere... No no... it's just the Hockey Night in Canada theme 3

Geleitzug Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 No no... it's just the Hockey Night in Canada theme
hames123 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I went to a fight and a hockey match broke out.
CanadaOne Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Winnipeg in the house. Go Jets Go!!! You guys have the coolest jerseys. I'm not much for hockey, unless of course Montreal is kicking the **** out of Boston, but I'd wear the Winterpeg colours. 2
MiloMorai Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Ottawa with the a great aviation museum, the war museum and Vintage Wings of Canada (across the river, need a passport to visit). The Maple Griefs are doing quite well this year. Sadly the Sens aren't, again. 1
R3animate Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Another one from New Brunswick here. I had the chance to go to the air show in Ottawa last year. Can confirm, very impressive museum. Spitfires, Hurricane, Sea Fury, 109-F4, some WW1 planes... Got to see a P51, Spitfire and Corsair fly in formation, that was slick. 1
Trooper117 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 The most I remember about Canada, is Medicine Hat and the 'Sin Bin'... the rest is a drunken haze. Oh, and an endless effing prairie... 1
