Jason_Williams Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Are their any here on the forum? I have some questions I need to ask someone from Canada. PM me is you meet this criteria. Thanks, Jason
HagarTheHorrible Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Yes I am Jason. Don't lie, you're from Quebec 1 4
CanadaOne Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Tabarnac! Je suis Canadian. Embracer l'horreur, mon ami.
HagarTheHorrible Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Good grief, it's worse than I thought, they must be breeding. Before you know it they'll have overrun the place and be demanding their own country. Just from curiosity, was there a preference, by Quebecer's to join the Canadian forces in WWII or the Free French ? Was it even an option ? 1
19//Moach Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) Canadian here! British Columbia, eh! Edited December 7, 2017 by 19//Moach
Jason_Williams Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 Thanks guys. I got what I needed. I will handle this by PM. Jason
ShamrockOneFive Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Late to the show but here's another one of those maple syrup, double double, toque loving neighbors from the north. Or in other words... Hows'it going eh?
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I play and coach hockey. So, I'm almost Canadian. 1

CanadaOne Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Well, in theory, that's not a terrible idea...
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I'd miss Toronto. Great city. Still need to get over to Montreal some day. I hear the old city is fantastic.
CanadaOne Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I'd miss Toronto. Great city. Still need to get over to Montreal some day. I hear the old city is fantastic. Montreal has the best bagels in the world.
ShamrockOneFive Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I'd miss Toronto. Great city. Still need to get over to Montreal some day. I hear the old city is fantastic. Great city to visit for sure Prefer to live somewhere it a little more quiet... Toronto really does have almost everything though. Montreal has the best bagels in the world. This is true! I have had the bagels and they are quite possibly the best. The poutine isn't bad either
Jade_Monkey Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Glad to see you like SP Jason I'm planning a trip to Mt Tremblant, any insider tips from my northern neighbors?
Beazil Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 By the way on South Park this week the U.S. nuked Toronto. LOL Jason Gawd I love that show.
CF-105 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 By the way on South Park this week the U.S. nuked Toronto. LOL Jason We actually don't mind. Well, apart from those in Toronto...
DSR_A-24 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 We actually don't mind. Well, apart from those in Toronto... *dead*
Crazy-Canuck Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Handle kind of says it all for me. Centre of the universe! True Canadians will know the city of which I speak. 1
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I’m wondering if Jason needs some Canadian opinions for a super top secret Mosquito release? ;) ;) 1
Feathered_IV Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Jason if it’s not too much trouble, would you mind asking them why they talk funny?
ShamrockOneFive Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Jason if it’s not too much trouble, would you mind asking them why they talk funny? It's because our jaws are completely unhinged from the rest of our faces 2
Gambit21 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I watched Strange Brew probably 50 times as a teenager - does that count eh? I live near the border so I cross into BC now and then, watchful for errant hockey pucks of course. BC'ers don't talk funny, but traffic rules seem to elude them. Part of their charm I guess.
Geleitzug Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Montreal has the best bagels in the world. And the best hockey team in the world too - at least that was true in the past...
eRoN Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Handle kind of says it all for me. Centre of the universe! True Canadians will know the city of which I speak. London?
Asgar Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Well, in theory, that's not a terrible idea... Go Canucks Go!
Eicio Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) Good grief, it's worse than I thought, they must be breeding. Before you know it they'll have overrun the place and be demanding their own country. Just from curiosity, was there a preference, by Quebecer's to join the Canadian forces in WWII or the Free French ? Was it even an option ? I'm not sure 100% but I'm pretty confident that the canadians join the canadians forces, I don't think there was any canadian in the french free forces. Take the most famous WWII canadian hero https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A9o_Major He was from Quebec and was in canadian regiment. Edited December 8, 2017 by Eicio
PatrickAWlson Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I'd miss Toronto. Great city. Still need to get over to Montreal some day. I hear the old city is fantastic. If you want an old town try Quebec City. Great atmosphere, great food, music at night, history, and nobody speaks English (at least they didn't twenty five years ago) 1
CanadaOne Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Does Jason need something stormed ? Ice stormed!
DressedWings Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Does Jason need something stormed ? gotta retake vimy is my guess. 1
CIA_Yankee_ Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 By the way on South Park this week the U.S. nuked Toronto. LOL Jason As a loyal Habs fan, I see nothing wrong with this. 1
