Tiestilha Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 whats your rig? GTX 1050 Ti Intel i5 7400 16 gb ram and 250 gb ssd card (don't remember the model) I don't think it should be hardware related since I have very smooth constant 60 fps in single player.
Danziger Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I just want to say again how awesome Kuban is. Every single time I come back to it I'm amazed. Beautiful work guys seriously.
Eaglesluistude1 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Hi friends, I can not seem to figure out where to download the 2.012 update. could you tell me where to find it. thank you so much.
1CGS LukeFF Posted October 30, 2017 1CGS Posted October 30, 2017 Hi friends, I can not seem to figure out where to download the 2.012 update. could you tell me where to find it. thank you so much. It downloads automatically.
Jade_Monkey Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Hi friends, I can not seem to figure out where to download the 2.012 update. could you tell me where to find it. thank you so much. You have to use the Launcher, not the il2.exe file. If you are on Steam then it should update automatically.
Livai Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Devs, something worry me - Why the Turret-Gunners show me now their feets? Can I shoot them now out off the planes that they falling down from the skies if I make some nice big holes below their Turret-Gunner-Seat? I added the Screenshots below and the flight-record I uploaded here: http://www68.zippyshare.com/v/iNnRDXGP/file.html If you watch the flight-record be sure you start from 0:00 because the feets show their best from 0:00 to 0:03. The feet-thing I noticed because I switched at the same moment where it happends to that enemy plane. Yeah it happends where I see things what nobody have seen before.........
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 -snip- No doubt were the high speed shots easier, but nothing like you make it sound : P -snip- I think they were. I guess that makes two of us.
216th_Jordan Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Oh so you are saying you could dive from 4k pointing straight at a yak turning and burning on deck and make your shot most times? No need to reposition, no need to burn off speed? Alright then I probably just suck really bad compared to both of you Of course you needed to reposition, otherwise you would have blacked out and you also burned off energy same as now probably. But the instantaneous turn performance at high speed was a sure joke.
Falcon41 Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Great stuff. I origninally only flew IL-2 and the subsequent upgrades, but the BOS, BOM and BOK and the maps are incredible. Just one question, having purchased the early release of BOK when can I receive the planes that go along with it, namely the P-39 and the B-20?

If you have Bos or BoM, you can fly the planes as they come out. Which should be December for the A-20 and P-39 if everything is on track.
ShamrockOneFive Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Great stuff. I origninally only flew IL-2 and the subsequent upgrades, but the BOS, BOM and BOK and the maps are incredible. Just one question, having purchased the early release of BOK when can I receive the planes that go along with it, namely the P-39 and the B-20? Jason has indicated that there will probably be no more major updates before the final launch of BoK. We're still waiting for the P-39, A-20 and Yak-7B so we'll likely see all of those at release. We're expecting to see that late December orrrr maybe early in January.
[353rd]Muscat Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 hi folks: My question is if in the next update will be fix this terrible issue in the cockpit of Bf-109 F and G, i refer to the low poly nose view inside the cockpit, It seems that we are in the cabin of a 109 in the first versions of the simulator year 2001.... Please fix this problem adding more polygons to the nose inside the cockpit view for a softer and rounded nose...what do you think guys? 2
Danziger Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Looks way better than the old Il2 to be honest.
Rolling_Thunder Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Looks fine to me. You start throwing extra polygons on everything you're gonna lose performance. This game is smooth as silk. Dont want to lose that
216th_Jordan Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Compared with this it doesn't look too bad as the plate was straight IRL. http://c8.alamy.com/comp/E23B8N/london-uk-14th-june-2014-the-cockpit-of-an-messerschmitt-bf109-buchon-E23B8N.jpg
MrNoice Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 so I agree. there are many bad textures speaking about the external model of planes if in cockpit since its only 2048x2048 resolution with 4K Skins it looks much better... so it would be nice to have the default skins in 4K some day
ATA_Vasilij Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I just want to say again how awesome Kuban is. Every single time I come back to it I'm amazed. Beautiful work guys seriously. Agree. this map was included in the series of maps on the server I usually fly, and it is like "suddenly to be in a fairytale" just wonderful sceneries.... thanks for that. And what is the most is the fact that with the terrible amount of trees everywhere, it still runs smoothly (but yeap HUD must be off) greetings,

[353rd]Muscat Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Insulting statements like "these models look like they're from 2001" is pretty unfounded too, my friend. insulting? that´s not my intention, im talking about a problem with 3d model of specific plane, and in your quote im not telling nothing about 2001 my friend

I also have another picture showing the same part on a regular german 109, just not that good quality. So you don't really seem to know your 109s. They might not be as edgy as ingame but the part is straight and not round and it has an edge. Higher Polygones are nice but its not a horrible issue as quite many have stated now after you asked for ratings from others.

SCG_Space_Ghost Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 You can keep being a smart ass about it but he isn't wrong.

I'm not going to continue this conversation with you ... I didnt know that you love to post what others say to emphasize how right you are, yess my english its not good at all and what? its a problem?

I see that you base your words saying that I do not know the 109, and you? you post a picture of HA-1112 dude, its different than 109 G so.... It seems that you know more than the others, please illustrate me about the 109, you base your arguments denying others... It has got a completely different engine, and hence a completely different front end to a German Bf-109F/G thank you, that's what I meant
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 -snip- I didnt know that you love to post what others say to emphasize how right you are -snip- I quoted your post because you denied making one about "blah blah blah 2001." Cognitive dissonance, though. Gotcha.
216th_Jordan Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) It has got a completely different engine, and hence a completely different front end to a German Bf-109F/GThe engine however sits way to the front of the part we discuss here so..Here, thats a 109-F4, the part is straight and only round at the top. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Bf_109_variants#/media/File%3AMesserschmitt_Bf_109F-4_02.JPG Btw: Sorry for OT. [353rd]Muscat Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Cognitive dissonance, though. Gotcha. now you know neuroscience and human psychology congratulations but I'm talking about 109, and you're not right no matter how much you talk about things you just searched in google. 1
[353rd]Muscat Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) you can compare this with the other image of the 109 cockpit in game i attached a few post above Edited December 5, 2017 by Muscat82
FuriousMeow Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 It is almost a flat surface until it hits the actual engine cover, which the picture you just showed has. Look at it, it's almost flat until it hits the engine covers. The in-cockpit view shows that part and only the rear view of the engine cover. It's also not a "cockpit" view, you are looking at the actual external 3D model from the cockpit.
bzc3lk Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Doesn't look to bad to me when viewed from the same angle in the real world.
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 -snip- you're not right no matter how much you talk about things you just searched in google. I agree - you're not right regardless of how much you google it.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Giveit a break, pls. Yes the model is dated but the reality is revisions require manpower, time and ressources which the team is short of. It's not game breaking so theres really no need for all the fuss.
6./ZG26_Custard Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 It's not game breaking so theres really no need for all the fuss. I dunno, I checked some of the templates out and clearly we have rivets missing, what's worse though I put too much water with my quinoa! 3
[353rd]Muscat Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I agree - you're not right regardless of how much you google it. I'm tired of hearing your stupid things again and again like an angry child, This conversation is unpleasant from the moment you sentenced with your unfounded words Giveit a break, pls ok you're right I'm sorry for others who read this conversation Let's continue talking about the sim
[353rd]Muscat Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Doesn't look to bad to me when viewed from the same angle in the real world. You really do not see the differences?
