=KG76=flyus747 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Is there a key binding that enables the gunner to switch through the positions because I've been playing this game for a few months now and the inability to do something as simple as this is bugging me. If I wanted to switch positions, I would have to leave the flight then re-enter the flight in a different position. this not only makes it inconvenient but reduces any opportunity I may have had at better defending my teammates ship. If I remember correctly, this feature was something that used to be in BOS no?

New hotkeys for switching between the stations will be added - RShift-0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, where RShift-0 moves you to pilot seat and other numbers to different turrets on bigger aircraft like bombers. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/29574-developer-diary-part-160-discussion/ You can bind these to whatever you wish within the Weapons section of settings.
Yogiflight Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 (edited) I think he is talking about multiplayer, where you, AFAIK, can not jump on a bomber as second player, changing through the gunner positions, so the first player of this bomber can concentrate on flying the plane and finding the target, while the second player looks for fighters from the different positions and defends the aircraft against attacking fighters, no matter from which direction they attack. As it is currently, you take place in the reargunners position, but when the fighter attacks from below, you can't do anything. Edited August 23, 2017 by Yogiflight 2

Jade_Monkey Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 To calrify, you can switch positions in MP if you are the pilot. If you start the mission on someone's plane as a gunner then you can't.
