RoF Mod Installation Order

Hey guys,

 

Is there a tutorial the describes the installation order for the most popular ROF mods?

 

I can give a list if you guys need it but I'm sure most guys who are privy to this are probably aware of the 12~ mods that are most popular: terrain bumpmaps, rate of fire, flak adjustments, landscape/texture packs, etc.

 

 

 

Also, does anybody have these ROF mod packages available since it seems rofmods.com isn't coming back?

 

Soldiers Package #1 v1 by SYN_Vander.

Static Objects Package #1 by SYN_Vander.

Vehicles Package #1 by SYN_Vander.

Ground Objects Package #1 by SYN_Vander
Ships Package #1 v2.0 by SYN_Vander.

I do not have the ships but I do have the others, but not sure how to overcome the file size limit here and I do not have a file sharing account - I suggest PM to Panthercules, his favourite mod thread in RoF forum may have these or he might have them available somewhere.

 

As to load order - I have never noticed a problem even using a lot of mods since there seem to be rather few that try to modify the same things.  If you are using a couple that do alter the same files the ones lowest down the list will overwrite the ones higher up.

Thanks for the advice, Unreasonable. I PM'd Panthercules to see if he has any resources - from what I can tell, most of these are not in his favorites list unless all of Vander's mods are compiled in to the one in Panther's list.

Looks like I do have ships. I wonder if I can circumvent the file limit by sneaking them out in separate posts.....

Panthercules' thread is where I started but it omits some of the things I was looking for specifically. I found this recent thread on ground object compatibility with PWCG and wanted to get ahold of the various mods for my campaign:

I remember (oh boy that was long time ago) a guy on RoF forum doing fortresses around Verdun (like Douaumont etc).It was WIP,but I managed to install some beta version. They looked awesome. Dont know if the mod was finished/still exists.
