That's a bot, lol

I'm thinking you are correct.

@LeLv30_RedwingThe subject isn't the issue. It's the 5 year time gap with no activity.

The thread had obviously run it's course long ago.

Your new car looks awesome,

See above.

Congratulating someone for an event that happened 5 years ago like it happened today is just silly.

And none of the folks that were originally involved have bothered to comment or update in that same timeframe.

I've left it unlocked because it's in the off topic section.

If you have something to contribute to the thread, fell free.

I am a horrible car buyer.
when my car broke down I went in and bought a new one close to where my old stopped.
I needed another company car when sitting in a cafe, I went into the closest one and bought the one they had in, sort of suited for the task.
No consistency at all. Kia e soul, Renault Kangoo, Izusu Dmax, VW Transporter double cab pickup, Ford Transit Custom

MB Arock  and Volvo fm330

mid what we have now.

LOL,  I envy your way of making decisions! For me, it's always a six month project involving exel sheets for comparison and countless hours in Youtube watching all the videos of the chosen models and after that starts the test drives and elimination game ...and as soon as I've bought the car, comes the moment I feel like I have nothing to do and I could really need some new project in my life...and what happens is: hmm, there's a new car video, I must have a look ?

After 4 years stuck in the weeds, I dug this L200 pickup out, because my dog loves it and hates the car.

Unfortunately he's become too frail to get up into in it.

I need to put some thought into this problem.

I really wanted one, until I tried to sit into one.  Big disappointment. It was so tight inside, I couldn't fit my knees inside. I didn't even bother to take it for a road test.

It's made for midgets.

Yes, I think that's the way to go.

Problem is, it's got to go through the rear side door and at an angle.

I've been experimenting today with some home made ideas. We got him in eventually.

Maybe for young men of 1930's not for today's young men.

I'm 1.84 meters and 88 Kg, at 51. I'm not overweight. This is normal size these days.

My knees simply didn't fit inside.

Now they made new, extended models, but back in the early 2000's when I wanted to buy one, the ones they had were simply made for midgets.

This little twin turbo V6 fits me like a glove::good: 2128643442_N8S1G6(1).thumb.png.4a83a1c625ebc2b8ea04fe415169f8e3.png

I was 1.87 but 70 kgs when 18........and the Jeep was OK for me : not the exotic models,  but the real one -as on picture- and It was nice for the large LoS when open toped ?

Thx. I got it for the color. There are enough black, white and gray cars out there.  It's the 2016 version Edge Sport. It got the  2.7L twin turbo V6.

Yeah it's sad to see all the Euro models being so neutered.  :( I think 2 liter is the biggest engine you can get.

This line of their "Eco boost"(Turbo) engines are a lot of fun. A friend of mine has the 3.5Liter version in his 2021 Explorer and he loves it.

They are cool as heck and fun. There's also a huge selection of aftermarket stuff for it as well. The three models I tried were just too limited in leg room for me, sadly.
