Thank you. Obviously I am blind. No idea how I passed the pilot aptitude check.  :pilot:

No problem  :) . That plan looks pretty nice, good year coming for us   :good:

I deeply appreciate the historical work it is taking in developing the map.  You guys are making me feel that I am there.

In regard to the way you are creating the mountains and deciding where snow will be and trees and such I hope that will translate into making of the rivers look much more realistic in the shape and size.

Right now the big rivers look fine but the smaller rivers and streams do not.  It is something that bugs me and with what you mentioned Hans, I have hopes of better looking rivers.

Very nice pictures. Beautiful scenery. For the rocky, snowy part as well as patches of grass at altitude the texture is visually very nice. How do you plan to do the dense mountain woods coverage. Will it be done by individual trees like for the other maps. I mean will you populate the mountains with a set of various trees typical of the region.

Google earth even has an airplane simulator.

Yes but frankly when one flies not too high from ground, the textures are just horrible. I am sure we will have a much better visual quality with BOK.

After reading this I went back to look at the pictures again. I am having a very hard time seeing what you are talking about. Even the ridges off in the distance are nowhere near as unnatural looking as DCS. As a matter of fact, I don't think I have ever seen more natural looking mountains in a game.

The only mountains that look better are the ones from Wargame: ALB and Combat Mission, Fortress Italy.

Mountains and landscape looks nice, but with those mountains the painful 10km "barrier" becomes even more visible..mountains not really far away already vanishing in the mist...

gosh, i can't wait for an increase in rendering distance and visibility..gets painfull for a 2017 game
