problem with mission download

Hi All, I am not having much luck with mission downloads lately, I have just downloaded "Ivan's war"   and followed the instructions, and placed the download into missions, but only 2 missions are showing,

 

#4 Scramble and #11 Volga crossing ? and the sound seems to take sometime to start in #4   is this a bug?  it seems unusual that only 2 missions are there, i would have thought it's either all or nothing ?

Ivan's War is a campaign and the mission files have to be placed in the data/campaigns folder. Just follow the instructions in the readme file and you will have all files of the campaign in the correct folders.

Thanks Juri, I did try to install the files in campaign but they did not show up, I shall try again.

Taffy, each campaign has its own folder within the "Campaigns" folder, so if you've just been copying the missions straight into the "Campaigns" folder, this might be the problem.

Well i'm following the script and going into the game directory and placing the files such- campaigns/data/campaigns/Ivan's war by Juri.and then when clicking on the last i can see all the missions listed, but this is not showing up in the game ?

 

Should this show up on the scripted campaign screen next to "10 days in Autumn"   I am obviously not extracting correctly ?

It should be 'IL 2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad/data/Campaigns/Ivan's War'. You seem to have an extra Campaigns folder.

That folder is also where "Alberts Life","Chir Front" and JG 51 Velikie Luki go.

If you copy just the Ivans War folder and put it in the right Campaigns folder it should probably work. ....I'm no expert though.

Taffy, when you extract the zip file of my campaign, you will see a folder with the name "data". Put this folder in the games main directory "...IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad/". That's all you have to do. This will automatically place all mission files and skins of the campaign in the correct sub-folders.

Thanks Juri. FYI, I notice that your post for Ivan's War says "This will put the missions into the 'IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\Missions\Ivan's War - by Juri_JS' folder". I assume that the text in red should be "campaigns".

Thanks again Juri, I did as you suggested, went down the installation path only as far as "IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad" extracted there and bingo !! it's there next to 10 days in May.
