I'm fully hyped and fully in support of this game and its developers, but I'm starting to get just a teeny weeny bit impatient from not being able to play as standard edition preorder. I thought we could at least gain access to the first session of December, which is the month in which they said we could join.

Can the devs just confirm a date, pleease.

This, please Devs confirm a date already, Its not hard to open the next access or just a Day from this one, I think already all of us deserve to test it... we all had paid

Oh man. I'm so psyched for this game.. I'm taking myself - grabbing out for my credit card, while the other hand holds it down and my mind goes - "Dude... You gotta wait it out" - "But ... but ... but... It looks so awesooome?!"

Sorry if it has already been answered before, maybe I have not seen or do not remember. Also sorry for my English (I say this in case I express rude or inappropriate manner, which is not my intent).

 

 

 

To me it maybe not affect me (I already bought the simulator on November 22) but wanted to know if I could recommend this simulator to someone else.

 

 

This system of unlock features and aircraft ...

 

-will be optional for multiplayer? (server or client side)

 

-It will be mandatory to go through the singleplayer campaign to get them?

 

I personally find it extremely tedious play singleplayer campaigns and I would recommend this game to anyone and that after he not encounter this problem warning him before.

 

Furthermore, this issue is important when doing missions in a squad ... For anyone to have to be left out if he still has not unlocked the necessary aircraft.

 

This is simmilar problem that currently exists in RoF.

I'm running it on three 1650x1050 monitors in portrait mode. Everything maxed out.

Runs very smooth in it's current form on an i2500@4.3ghz and two stock GTX 680's(non SLI).

That's nice! How many fps have you got?

 

I currently have a i5 3570, and a single GTX 660TI. Might need to buy another one for SLI when the time comes.

Don't know if I should just bite the apple and buy a single 780 instead of running 2 x 660TI's...

Hello Siegfried, Has been stated that The Owners of Premiun and Standar, Everybody right now, has access to all planes , AFAIK, this system would benefict the casual players, buying a Less expensive edition, and need to unlock the planes. 

 

But everybody in with some experience on Siming will always buy te Standard or the most expensive, The skins and Fieldmods has been stated that you can disable them on the server settings, so everyone can choose, or the Editor of the mission,

 

For the UnlockTree I dont care, as far as we dont get involved (usual sim flyers) and helps the New incoming people that are afraid of paying too much for something that they are starting at

Either; when the server is up, go through the log in process and re-download the whole game onto your new computer or, since the client is still small - around 2gig - burn a copy of your present game folder - the one called IL2 Battle of Stalingrad in your X86 programmes folder - and transfer it onto your new pc in the same location and update your game in the normal way when the server comes up.

Soon. Possibly the next early access session however we'd have to start on Friday 13th. So I won't give a precise date right now. But it'll happen before Christmas

Yes, mods can be prohibited by server holder

They can be obtained only by completing missions. We never said one would need to finish the campaign, it's different from one in ROF

Thanks for the information BlackSix and Zak. The tree branch system is pretty neat. I could not help but smile when I saw the Yak 1 Series 69 mentioned. She may be down the road, but she is on the mind, for sure. Thanks for setting things up for the weekend, instead of the middle of the week. I will have a great time sim-flying the LaGG-3, tonight. It is overcast and rainy in NY, so tonight is perfect for ordering take out and playing BOS.  MJ

It seemed like last time it took us straight to the updater page which looked and worked just like the one in ROF. That's my guess but might be wrong

Run Launcher.exe in the game folder.

Best way to get rid of CloD trauma is to install Team Fusion 4.0 patch there.

Thats because they haven't got the server up and running yet... you do know as its in an early stage of development they only allow us to test the game about 3 days a week?
