I know there's a product called Rise of Flight.

But I think biplanes ww2 also rocks.

I believe that this is a factor of development time/return on investment.

There are quite a number of us who would love to see an Hs 123 and at some point the Po-2 is necessary as far as I'm concerned.

As Space Ghost said: The Po-2 is pretty much the only biplane that's an absolute must.

Hs 123 and Chaika would be nice to have, but not necessary. In fact I'd probably prefer the Cr. 42 to the Hs 123 as it was much more prolific in both Hungarian and Italian service.

I was a bit skeptical reading this but I agree now after having looked up some history on the plane.

"They went on to be used for liaison, light attack, nuisance raider, and propaganda aircraft—complete with microphone and loudspeaker."

I wonder how you can quantify shouting propaganda for multiplayer server stats/objectives?

Of all my accomplishments I may have achieved during the war, I am proudest of the fact that I never lost a wingman.                                           — Colonel Erich 'Bubi' Hartmann, GAF

I mean, I had fast motor cars and fast motor bikes, and when I wasn't crashing airplanes, I was crashing motor bikes. It's all part of the game.      — Sir Harry Broadhurst, RAF, 12 victories WWII

Fighting in the air is not sport. It is scientific murder.                                                                                                                                                    — Captain Edward V. 'Eddie' Rickenbacker, USAS

With a top speed of 84mph, it would literally take an hour to reach your target - just to drop your 50kg bomb.

Never fly in the same cockpit with someone braver than you.

How fun would it be to score points for a successful recon mission in MP in a Po or Storch? Then sneak back home at tree-top level...
This must happen.
Plus it will add variety even to offline campaigns, even where the Storch for instance isn't the focus of the campaign. 190 campaign, with an extracurricular schnapps run to a neighboring base....
As Picard used to say - make it so.

lol... I used to fly the Po-2 (U-2) in War Thunder... quite often the mission had finished before I even got to the target area :)

But it was a joy to get to target and complete the mission sometimes...

Would purchase a Po-2 in a heartbeat.

Maybe we can beg the devs to do it like we did with the Ju-52.

I would love a Po-2.

Would love a game set in the Spanish Civil War even more.

I've always felt that the SCW would make a neat, pre-war combat sim.

There's definitely a smaller market for that, though.
