Why we dont have biplanes

I know there's a product called Rise of Flight.

 

But I think biplanes ww2 also rocks.

I believe that this is a factor of development time/return on investment.

 

There are quite a number of us who would love to see an Hs 123 and at some point the Po-2 is necessary as far as I'm concerned.

As Space Ghost said: The Po-2 is pretty much the only biplane that's an absolute must.

 

Hs 123 and Chaika would be nice to have, but not necessary. In fact I'd probably prefer the Cr. 42 to the Hs 123 as it was much more prolific in both Hungarian and Italian service.

I was a bit skeptical reading this but I agree now after having looked up some history on the plane.

I wonder how you can quantify shouting propaganda for multiplayer server stats/objectives?

How fun would it be to score points for a successful recon mission in MP in a Po or Storch? Then sneak back home at tree-top level...

This must happen.

Plus it will add variety even to offline campaigns, even where the Storch for instance isn't the focus of the campaign. 190 campaign, with an extracurricular schnapps run to a neighboring base....

lol... I used to fly the Po-2 (U-2) in War Thunder... quite often the mission had finished before I even got to the target area

But it was a joy to get to target and complete the mission sometimes...

Nice idea we had a lot of fun in il2 1946. But they came with the price of the dvd. Not syre if i would buy it for BoS

Maybe we can beg the devs to do it like we did with the Ju-52.

I've always felt that the SCW would make a neat, pre-war combat sim.

 

There's definitely a smaller market for that, though.
