Have had pretty much all the Sturmovik flight sims from the original right up to CLoD. Several days ago I put in a request for a Dserver account so my brother and I could continue on with this BOS series. I am just curious how long it usually takes to receive the Dserver account key in most cases? Thanks.

Cya in the sky I Still have not heard/received nothing from support/Dserver request Morales. Put in a second 'Request' couple days back. Will post back if I hear from them.

So to answer my original question..if anybody else is waiting on a key, it took approx 3 weeks to receive key from initial request.

No, you can set up and run a DServer that comes with IL-2 Sturmovik without a separate account, but you cannot run the game at the same time. Otherwise, you need the separate account to: - Run that built-in DServer and IL-2 at the same time. - Run a separate DServer on the same PC as the game or on another PC. For more details, see "Install and Update a Multiplayer Mission Server" on pg. 167 of the IL-2 Sturmovik Mission Editor and Multiplayer Server Manual. Edited October 4, 2017 by JimTM
