Heyho.

I have a question, i read in the VKB forum that all joysticks with cam profile gimbals leans to one side while in neutral position, is your stick also affected by this?

@@Ishtaru, This is incorrect. The VPC MongoosT-50 does not suffer from this, and is absolutely 100% perfectly centered in the neutral position!

I received my Virpil grip yesterday. Beautiful made and functional. Love all the buttons on the stick.

Great product. I will have to order the base.

Thx Virpil

May 31st, 2017 // Announcement No. 13

► VPC MongoosT-50 Base & Flightstick Shipping Update

In our efforts to remain as honest and transparent as possible with our customers, the VPC Team unfortunately reports the postponement of the previously announced delivery dates for pre-orders including the VPC MongoosT-50 Base and VPC MongoosT-50 Flightstick.

Initially it was planned for all pre-orders before 5th May to be shipped at the end of May, and all pre-orders after 5th May will begin shipping 10th June.

However, the production of the mechanics have taken longer than initially planned. We were presented the choice to maintain our initial timing, or provide superior quality. We ultimately chose the latter.

We will confirm the new pre-order shipping dates in 2-3 days.

We deeply apologise for this delay, henceforth we will be much more restrained with our announced timings to ensure this doesn’t happen again. As compensation for the long wait, the VPC Team is preparing a gift for every pre-order customer.

Thankyou all for your patience and continued support!

Hello Virpil,

yould we please get a small update or at least some sign of life?
There hasnt been any communication since the last announcement now. Customers starting to get upset.
You shoudl do your business a favor and give some sort of feedback.

Thanks!

Yes I would strongly advise caution here. I ordered the base and stick, extensions, and center desk mount and paid for all on April 15th.

They have gone totally silent for about two weeks now and are not responding to anyone!!

And Cyph3r has been on at least this forum and one other as little as two days ago,  and is just not posting.

My level of concern is starting to rise rapidly.

Base and BE grip ordered. Mailed VPC_Solway (Russian forum) yesterday, requesting urgent update - nothing heard...

This is not good at all.

Still not responding anywhere.

I think at this point it is safe to say  Virpil is MIA.

Well, there still is a law. And if they decide to keep it quite ill just pass the matter to my lawyer. Thats why one gets a civil law insurance.

I wrote to them via their website and asked fo some sort of update until thursday next week. If nothing happens until then I decide if i officially cancel my orders and request my money back.

I think you all should relax. They are liget. Maybe its a personal issue they are dealing with.

I couldnt understand it as well. I received my first grip and its great.

What they do is hurting themselves with not responding at all. Thats no way to treat customers.

Not responding at all to customers  since 5/31 who have ordered and paid for their product  is certainly not acting like a legit business. On 5/31, the date the product was to be ready to ship, they announced a delay stating they would have an update for us within 2-3 days with new shipping date. They have gone dark since then, even on their official forums.

So no, I am not going to relax at this time, not until I see some word from them.  I am very concerned at this point.

FYI: all. We got a silver lining. Over on the DCS forums a guy called them in person and got the feedback that shipping of the preorders will start by the end of the month (very early orders even earlier). Cypher will be responding to all our questions in a few days.
I guess all the silence was just because of a crisis meeting concering the delay.
puuuhhh.

I really hope they learn their lesson here. You cannot stop communication like that. Otherwise youre up shitcreek without a paddle in no time as one can see here.

Not home and dry yet although a promising development. I look forward to Cyph3r's response....

I do hope that info is accurate.

I am still bothered by the fact Cyph3r was logging into both these and the DCS forums as late as the 14th when concerns were being expressed and not responding at all to them - if nothing else than to say they are still working on it and hope to know in x number of days. And his not logging into the Virpil forums since the 8th and not responding there either...

Agreed. At least I am feeling a bit better now. What reason should someone have to create an account just to tell BS to us? I dont see one.
Still breaking communication like that is unacceptable in a way. And i dearly hope they get that and learn from it. that is IF everything is all right and we get what we payed for.

I was just hoping the info he was being given is accurate.

Cyph3r, being a Virpil employee or representative has not posted on the official Virpil forums since June 2nd.

That somewhat bothers me. I do hope we hear from him at some point today.

OK guys. I just called them myself in person. And i got the same information that Tane got.

Cypher was in belarus for a company meeting regarding the delay of orders. Hes was offline. That was the reason why he didnt get to answer our concerns. He will be back and should be getting to answer our concerns within the next hours.
So all fine. No need to worry. They guy on the phone apologized a lot and I bet after Cypher tells them what was going on in the forums this wont happen so fast again:)

Cheers!

Hello all, I have not had a chance yet to read every message yet but I can see the general gist here.

As some have correctly speculated, I am indeed the only individual tasked with replying to the English community and I have been away. As some have pointed out already, I have actually been away from the UK to visit the VPC HQ in Belarus, I had expected to be able to reply while I was there but this was not the case - hence for no post before hand mentioning I will be away. I deeply apologise for this and I can understand this has left many users confused as to what is happening.

However, on to the good news, I can confirm that the meeting at the VPC HQ had gone very well and we will start to ship the VPC MongoosT-50 Flightsticks and Bases on July 1st.

I will continue to catch up on my rather huge backlog of messages to address individual concerns, as well as replying to any additional questions that have got lost in the mix in the previous few days. Once again I apologise, I can assure you that future visits to the VPC HQ will be announced so that the community is kept in the loop (lesson learnt!), but I am now back in the UK so I am here if anyone needs anything!

21st June 2017 // Announcement No. 15
► VPC Pre-Orders Shipping Update

In the last week, the VPC Team had met together at the VPC HQ in Belarus to discuss the status of the current pre-orders including the VPC MongoosT-50 Flightstick & Base production.

As per our previous announcement, there had been a delay on our initial shipping estimate due to some minor improvements being made to the MongoosT-50 gimbal which required some retooling at the production factory. The production factory was then required to fulfil a large state order before moving on to ours. We apologise for this delay and appreciate everyone’s understanding during the wait.

However, we are now pleased to announce that the VPC MongoosT-50 Flightstick and Base orders will begin shipping on July 1st, with orders being dispatched on a first come, first serve basis.

We also have good news for users who have pre-ordered our VPC MongoosT-50 LH Grip and PC MongoosT-50 LH Flightstick. Production has already begun and these orders will also be shipping on July 1st!

Thanks for the headsup!

Some information or screenshots of the software for the base ?

I don't want to affect the joystick buttons directly in the game config. I want profiles and macros like TARGET Script Editor !

Update over at DCS-forums for all that are in to VPC gear:

Quote from Cyph3r:

Hi All!

We have received the initial batch of MongoosT-50 Bases from the factory and this weekend we are working on getting them QC'd and packaged up. The first batch will be collected for despatch from the VPC HQ at the start of the week!

We will be working our way through the pre-order queue from the oldest orders to the newest, so we will require your patience as we catch up with demand!

As I get more information I will keep you all updated with our progress thumbup.gif
