Jason_Williams Posted March 24, 2017 Author Posted March 24, 2017 HELLO JASON, I have been flying in both simulators for many years, an important point I am observing is that the physics of the two simulators are a bit different, I think there must be an urgent correction on both sides, so that the virtual pilots do not feel a difference when flying , I think we have to reach a balance point so when we play any of them there can not be that feeling of difference. It's one of the points that we find a bit strange. Thank you and sorry for the writing errors, I'm from Brazil and I used a translator. S! Sorry this will not happen. No way to reconcile. Different engines, different teams, different everything. Just the way it is. Jason 1
Retnek Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Steady on, old chap! Let's start with, say, functioning search lights! Baby steps, baby steps... You're absolutly right - without irony: we've seen the great potential of Il2-Clod with the TF-patch at servers like http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/ or http://www.stormofwar.org/ f.e. It is already useful in general, but limited by a lot of missing / faulty / incomplete details. I very much hope TF-ng now will take the time to iron out the known bugs and add some incomplete / hidden / missing features, too. I'm looking forward to the Mediterranean-add-on as much as I'd love to use some of the new planes and the channel map for 1942 large-scale circus operations, too.

We intend to not only add new content but try and fix long-standing bugs where possible. With access to the Source Code that of-course becomes a lot more possible Cheers, MP/TFS
=FEW=Hauggy Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Great news! Thanks for what you already have done and thanks to Jason for making this possible. Can't wait to buy your products, also i'm intrigued by the mention of other fronts, could there be a Battle of France or will the Dewoitine be used by Vichy France?

Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted March 26, 2017 Team Fusion Posted March 26, 2017 Great news! Thanks for what you already have done and thanks to Jason for making this possible. Can't wait to buy your products, also i'm intrigued by the mention of other fronts, could there be a Battle of France or will the Dewoitine be used by Vichy France? The original Channel map can be used with the Dewoitine as part of the planeset... and there is a possibility it can also be included in a Vichy French scenario in the Desert.
Gnus Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Hi Jason_Williams. Do you know, that after several BlackSix visits, on the ATAG forum in the Russian sub-forum thread "BoS / BoM Discussion" was blocked and the ATAG user was permanent banned, who of course, unkindly and often in an offensive manner, spoke about the Russian management of BoS. By the way, after this question Https://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/topic/2965-voprosy-razrabotchikam-2/page-47#entry515589 Question: - in BZ$ when the pause is pressed, the propeller is spinning (ie invisible ...) - in CloD at pushing on a pause the propeller "becomes on a pause" and blades are visible. In BZ$ - Is it too lazy to draw a fan and make a script or features of the engine? User was permanent banned by BlackSix at the Russian forum. Can you answer please, BlackSix, that person acts on your direct orders, or he makes such decisions on his own. Of course I'm banned too there. Thanks. Sorry for bad English.
Gnus Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 And Another important question, to who can answer it. Where will the general multilingual forum of TFS be located.
ATAG_Flare Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 And Another important question, to who can answer it. Where will the general multilingual forum of TFS be located. I'd assume that eventually there will be multilanguage forums for TFS here on this site, but the ATAG forums will still be available of course for all languages.
Lensman Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 My recent revelation of interest in IL-2 is entirely due to the added VR support, specifically the RIFT support. It's like going from black and white with no audio to colour and surround sound (and then some). Make COD VR capable and you have my investment!
Madov Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 (edited) Exactly the same here too. I had invested in BoS from the very earliest access times and only played initially. Always kept the faith and bought everything as it was revealed but only now that VR is enabled do I fly intensely. Had CloD from the beginning too. Should that have a capability for VR as good as we have in BoS then I foresee good doses of Kanalkrankheit coming on again. Ausgezeichnet! Edited May 22, 2017 by MADOV

It's like going from black and white with no audio to colour and surround sound (and then some). Make COD VR capable and you have my investment! My sentiments exactly! I am loving BoX in VR, they truly did a superb job in their implementation of this. And I would so love to see the same done for TFS Cliffs as well!
Lusekofte Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Well I finally tested VR , and to my pleasure I can live without it a great deal longer. For what I do it is a step back. I hope for better and improved VR by the time I bother to renew my PC. I tested it out in DCS choppers last weekend and a short flight in BOS, I must say I understand the feeling of being there, but to me I will not give up my pit and gadgets for VR any time soon. As for now I have far more immersion with my real pit than a rather disappointing field of view and resolution. I do not know if it was the fact I knew I had it just for the weekend, or the hype in many forums making me expecting too much
Aap Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I think CloD got some kind of support for Oculus Rift about a year ago. Link here.
Sokol1 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 CloD cockpits don't have proper 3D for VR, to save FPS some parts are 2D. After all their engine is now "old".

Lusekofte Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 The VR adaptability in COD was official sort of by Colander , I guess that means sort of

Ripgrunwald Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 On ACG forum guys posted interesting poll regarding future DLC for CloD after 4.5 patch: http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8806
