6./ZG26_5tuka Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) The temperatur gauges are yellow ones on the center panel. You should keep an eye on the upper row which is the outlet oil temperatur (says Ölaustrittstemperatur). Temperatur limits are market on the gauges. Edited January 19, 2017 by 6./ZG26_5tuka
Yogiflight Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Sorry 5tuka, but it is the brown ones. Look at the first post in this thread, you can see it in the first pic, posted by McKvack.
Nil Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Just leave the radiator always full open, simple and effective. (then you can play around to keep the needles verticals, nice addictive game during the flight , that is one of the reason I love this aircraft!)
WIS-Redcoat Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I can't seem to find find what I should set my throttle at for cruise? Someone said 80% but I also heard it can handle 90%.
Nil Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) 90% to 94% maximum is fine. remember to use 100% left rudder trim because of the bug above 240kph and put it neutral before landing or you will crash. No need to use flaps. Have a safe flight! Edited May 1, 2017 by 1./TG1_Nil
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 90% to 94% maximum is fine. remember to use 100% left rudder trim because of the bug above 240kph and put it neutral before landing or you will crash. No need to use flaps. Have a safe flight! I'm not sure it's a Bug. The Ju-52 Vertical Stabilizer is mounted pointing to the Left and the Rudder Surface Offset to the Right. Trimming doesn't happen via a Flettner Tab which aerodynamically adjusts the Rudder Position but is Spring Loaded, and as the Forces increase with Speed, the Spring has to be adjusted Accordingly. The Aircraft is built to Cruise at 180-210 KP/H and that is what the Trim Spring is designed to Adjust for. Ingame People fly at much higher Speeds,a often 240-270 at which the Trimmer can't provide enough Force. I personally Adjust my Throttles at that Point (as it would have been done IRL as well) to Center the Ball. # Spring Loaded Trim 1
