Please Read - A Heads Up on Update 2.006

Thanks for the info, Jason, good to know.

@ Blooddawn, you were quite right, unlike other nations, the german paratroopers learned to jump out with the head first. But I don't know why this was important for them.

They had to dive out head first because the static line pulled the parachute out from the bottom of the parachute pack, unlike allied chutes that were pulled out from the top[.

Also German paras had only one suspension lift web from their harness, not two as the allies parachute had, and unlike the allies German paratroopers could not use the lift web to adjust for landings.

Great update and thanks for information! Can't wait to see all the new stuff. :)

Hi Trooper, thanks for the info. I thought, that it had to do with their 'special' chute, but did not know, what exactly was the reason. I only saw on pics the dive jump out of the plane.

Many thanks for this vid! :yahoo:

For all those waiting patiently - morning beauty. I took my youngest daughter to Cracow's Aviation Museum. And Tante Ju was her favourite.

Lovely. Already FM complains over a plane that haven't even been launched.

Complains over fps over DX11 upgrade that hasnt been launched. Amazing.

Dev should just abandon this no money, unappreciative user base genre. Reading these [Edited], I see why investors have no interest in it.

Do not worry Cute Retriever, some people are like that.

Gratitude and being thankful for what we have is not taught at school . There is nothing we can do about it. I am not mad at them. I am just happy that more people are thankful for the outstanding work devs are doing for us as they work hard even on week ends.

More and more people use this sim and enjoy it (I can see it on servers) .

I am sure that things are getting better and better for dev team. I hope the best for them and I support them, that is one of the best thing we can do.

RAAAAARGH, I can't wait that long!

And damn, it'll probably be the 20th here in Australia :(

Wow. Just imagine trying to navigate a fighter through all of that. There's just too many parachutes for a single plane to shoot down!

Your phrase reminded me of this:

Your phrase reminded me of this:

That is is quite something he is saying there.

First about what the 109 pilot did to the bomber chutes and then Peterson tore him up to minced meat with his six 50 caliber guns (800 rounds a minute each).

By the way, this is how 'Bomber chutes' gets translated in the video.

It's become common to blame Obama in an ironic way (or not so ironic) for problems unrelated to something that a President should have power over. I.e. "Oww, I stubbed my tow. Thanks Obama..."

As long as you didn't bruise your Hellfires too, your TOW should be OK.

I think "a bomber" sounds like "ah bahmer" when an American says it. This gets machine-translated as Obama when automated subtitles get added.

Only about 24 hours to go, that's barely enough time to get through a hangover (at my age)

I got thru hangover pretty quickly this morning when my alarm clock started to scream . Reminding me that its still working day :D

The gods of health and human happiness have me at home ill today. I do feel like poo, but I'm watching the clock... A little more than 10 minutes before the lights go out in BoS towers for the big update...

I mean, how long can it take to delete a couple of files and then click and drag over a couple more?   :P

I left my computer switched on at home with steam running. Do you know it will start to update automatically?

Posted

I can not say how much I am excited!

I was waiting for Tante Ju since 15 years!

This dev team really makes dreams reality.... amazing for "just" a little team.
