SCG_motoadve Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Just played it in VR, super immersive, great job. Looks like this. 1
Jade_Monkey Posted January 28, 2018 Author Posted January 28, 2018 Another mission that has been unreleased for a long time: Transport intercept on Yak1b Long flight warning, BOK map is very big but the mountain views are amazing. BOK and Yak1b required Fighter - Yak1B - Deleting the evidence.zip 2
Gambit21 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Thanks for the help Jade Monkey, much appreciated. Just went to your website and really enjoyed looking at the pics and the wide variety of missions, etc. How long did it take you to master the ME and all the complicated logic associated with the ME? I can now understand some of the complaints put down in several forums regarding the ME ... it really is more complex than the original IL-2 mission building. Much more complex and much more powerful. I used the old editor and wouldn't trade this new one to get it back. I got up and running with it fairly quickly, but it took me months of work to master. JM - way to go!
SCG_motoadve Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 How hard will it be to be played as russian, or as one of the 109s escorting? I dont have a clue how to use the ME by the way.
Jade_Monkey Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 How hard will it be to be played as russian, or as one of the 109s escorting? I dont have a clue how to use the ME by the way. Pretty easy. What do you have in mind? There are some Yak1bs on the ground, there are some La5F patrolling the area and three mig3s too. Which one would you like to fly in?
Jade_Monkey Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 How about Yak 1 B? Here you go! I just changed a few things to convert the mission. Tested it a few times and here is my advice: watch your back, those 190s are everywhere. It's a tough one! Fighter - Yak1B - Airfield mayhem.zip
SCG_motoadve Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Again awesome mission, thanks for making them. It is a tough one.
SCG_motoadve Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Where do I put the audio files? I put it in the audio folder , but didn't hear it. Is it under an specific audio folder that it needs to go?
Jade_Monkey Posted January 30, 2018 Author Posted January 30, 2018 Where do I put the audio files? I put it in the audio folder , but didn't hear it. Is it under an specific audio folder that it needs to go? All files should go in the Missions folder, just unzip them there. Leave them in the specific audio folder as provided in the zip file. Moving them to other locations will result in the audio not playing.
Jade_Monkey Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 Battle of Britain Revival. Just a quick mission of Spitfires intercepting He111 H16 with Bf109 and 110 escort. There is no real mission, just shoot down as many bombers as you please. For those who want more ammo, just run the mission with custom settings and set the ammo to unlimited. Remember that the He111 H16 has very effective ventral and dorsal guns. Fighter - Spitfire Mk. Vb - Battle of Britain revival.zip 2
Luger1969 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Thanks JM. I always allow myself 120 round per cannon
Danziger Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 This sounds like it will be right up my alley. Any plans for the MiG?
Jade_Monkey Posted February 21, 2018 Author Posted February 21, 2018 I'm always open to making all sorts of missions. Any mission type that you would like to see? You can be as specific as you want.

SCG_motoadve Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 A mission in the Kuban mountain area, higher heavy cloud cover and using one of the airbases in those valleys near the mountains.
Jade_Monkey Posted February 21, 2018 Author Posted February 21, 2018 (edited) A mission in the Kuban mountain area, higher heavy cloud cover and using one of the airbases in those valleys near the mountains.I'll make more of those, but check out the one posted above for the Yak1b called "Deleting the evidence". The flights are long and pretty over the cloudy mountains. Edited February 21, 2018 by Jade_Monkey
SCG_motoadve Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Yep loved that one, thanks for making it
Blitzen Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) Jade Monkey, is there a chance you might do a Luftwaffe version or two of your mock Battle of Britain Mission? It is certainly involving being a Spitfire pilot, and I think it would be equally as interesting as any of the German aircraft ( 109's ,110.s or even as a bomber pilot in a 111,) featured.Having said that it is my opinion that the numbers & action ( esp in VR) are more nearly up to the big missions available in CloD- very nice work JM! I think one of the best features in CloD missions is the ability to fly any of the aircraft in any of the missions or even switch sides midway through a mission. It expands the way any mission can be flown exponentially. ( BTW...and I think I know...why did you use late "G" models of the 109's & 110's instead of the more correct" E "models for BoB ? Is it because they were better suited to the Spitfire V's available in the game?) Edited February 25, 2018 by Blitzen

I used more modern fighters to keep them relatively on par in terms of challenge with the Spitfire Vb. Battle of Britain revival.zip
Blitzen Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Many , many thanks Jade Monkey. These will be really fun ( I did just observe the He-111 mission it was cool to see their target- I had no idea when I intercepted them during the Spitfire version!) when not trying a scripted campaign I continue to fly one of your ever growing list of missions including the armor versions.Your work & that of other third party mission makers is a real benefit to gamers in BoX! 1
Jade_Monkey Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) @BorysVorobyov, Here is a Mig 3 escort mission. After landing back and coming to a stop, look out for a nice little extra. I'm testing a new idea. Fighter - Mig3 - Peshka escort.zip Edited March 2, 2018 by Jade_Monkey 2 1

The thing is, if you use the game in French, the missions have to have the French loc (French translation done) other wise it womt show up. Swing if you change the game lenguage to English you should be able to see all briefings. If that doesn't work, I am out of ideas. Haash THis. Works. But the localisation in e.g. GER doesn't work me either. Even when I delete all other loc files... it doesn't work. Had to set the whole game to ENG, then the briefings shew up. Jade_Monkey Posted March 25, 2018 Author Posted March 25, 2018 Updated for 3.001 for those who didn't already do that. 1 1 1
Blitzen Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 JM- I downloaded the new versions from the first post just now& deleted the old ones & put these in their place, but unfortunately I couldn't get them to work in my update Battle of Moscow, digital ( not steam) install. I haven't tried them in steam install yet..maybe they will work there?
keeno Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Can't thank you enough JM, I love your SP missions and this conversion to the latest version is the dogs nuts. cheers 1

Blitzen Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Yes I’m up to the 3.001version but unfortunately your ( great) missions still don’t work ( for me) in either version...
gn728 Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 (edited) JM - thanx for this - haven't tried too many of them yet but they all seem to open fine, for me, so far - one thing, the La-5FN mission starts with an overhead zoom view of the airfield. You have to hit F1 a couple of times to stay in the cockpit until the last flare goes off - then it stays. Is this by design? Thanx again for these... Edited March 26, 2018 by gn728

By design, it's just a panoramic zoom in to set the mood.
Jade_Monkey Posted March 26, 2018 Author Posted March 26, 2018 This is a long shot but there are two files that you can delete in the main game folder (bin?) "Mtreecache" and "Ctreecache". When you launch the game again they should regenerate and show you updated lists of missions. That usually fixes other issues but its worth trying.

Jade_Monkey Posted March 26, 2018 Author Posted March 26, 2018 Does the La5 FN mission work? That one is brand new so that would tell you if its an issue with the old missions only.
