I have bought one 2-3 months ago - great piece of equipment. Very precise and sturdy. And much cheaper than similar counterparts.

Hello to all! I thank for the kind words.
I am very busy working in the Virpil Controls. Perhaps the best variant will be to buy pedals in the official store.

https://virpil-controls.eu/

It remains to wait quite a bit. And you can buy them by reservation.

Or later, with the next replenishment of the store.

Hi Baur,

By "buy them by reservation" I guess you're referring to the pre-orders opening in July this year? I take it that it will be months (i.e. end of 2019?) before those are delivered? My current old CH pedals are dying, so I'll need to replace them faster than that - unless you are still making a last batch of your own pedals, it looks like I should rather go with MFG then? (I can't see myself simming without pedals for the rest of the year - I don't use a twist stick so I need pedals)

I can not give you a officially promise from VPC, but I assume that YES. In July or August.

? Do you really think that the delivery is so long ???

Everything I make is sold instantly in the domestic market of Russia.

I tell you that you will regret it many times in the future. We do not tell about all our plans. Therefore, I do not want to persuade you. I wish you become happy with the pedals MFG.

Sorry, it sounds like you probably took my post as a reproach and criticism - that's not what I intended at all. I think it's great that you'll have that new product with Virpil. I was really only asking for some more information (which you provided, thanks) as I need to replace my pedals soon. My initial intention was to get new pedals with my birthday money (coming up this week) and for that I was going to wait for the pricing for your Virpil pedals and then possibly pre-order in July - but now my current pedals have broken down, so I won't be able to wait for months if I want to keep simming.

Yes I really thought it might be pre-order in July and delivery in December, because other companies have done these sort of delays before, so that was not a reproach or judgement. But if you're actually going to ship sooner after the pre-order then good on you! Sadly it still sounds like this might be a bit too long for me to wait - not your fault, just the fact that I need to replace my pedals and there's not much on the market right now apart from MFG (I don't like the VKB t-rudder vertical design). But thanks again for the quick reply. I'll be curious to see how your pedals will be priced. I've got the feeling they'll be quite competitively priced compared to MFG

No no. I am very friendly :) I do not speak English. With the help of a translator it is difficult to convey the real meaning of the conversation.
I really want everything to be fine :)

No problem at all Baur, I'm not a native English speaker either, so I know how easily the meaning of a discussion can be lost. As I said, I'm only ordering the MFG Crosswind because my rudder pedals have broken down completely, otherwise I would have gladly waited a bit more to see the Virpil pedals. But I wish you all the best with their launch!

I know it's been forever but if anyone with Baur rudder pedals is interested in selling the 109-style pedals that came with it, I'd be very interested to get them! :)
