What the Heck?

How is it not possible that I'm not in the Top Ten? Didn't the Tip gets x 2 points value work Marta?

Barrikady and Central Factory Districts under intense assault by VI Army infantry and armored units as 1st Guards launch counter-attacks to relieve the pressure...

Boss, make that 2x La-5s for me and Alex, 5x Il-2s for Cathaoir, SilentEskimo, Cat, Nocke and Pod. No need for the Yak-7.

Well seeing as how you have been here basically from the start I guess we can stick another OP ugly look'in Spit in the mix.... ;)

However that means a nasty souped-up G-14 needs to be added as a counter-foil.

Okay 2 109s, 2 190s and 2 Bomber/Attack Slots are open for Axis.

Additionally Yeti (109) and OldJames (Bomber) have yet to reply.

Sorry, I'm late again, and I'm sorry I missed last week.  Sick as a dog!

 

But I'd be happy to fly the remaining JU-52 if it's still open.  I think I'm on the mend this week.

Having a blast destroying ground targets with your pards whilst evading some real killers out there defined what FNBF was all about for us ground pounders...
And what a cast of characters that joined in. Peterla, Baron, 307th, Etherlight, Vade, Doc Zebra, the 9./JG52, 4./JG52, -LaFrench- and LaL squads to name just a few.

Unfortunately due to the accidental purge we lost several hundred replies chock full of screenies, vids and hubris from the first year. Still plenty though. Over 85 pages.

Appreciate the sticky Haas.

Here are a couple recollections of good times...

 

The game itself and the demanding ME caused some interesting scenarios. Never easy for most to destroy. Tanks non the less lit up with spectacular regularity while they were getting the DM settled.
A missed counter link sets up Peterla, Jordan and the rest with a field day as those 61 MkIVs just kept spawning and rolling to their doom during the "Crucible" Mission.
"Did you guys really pop 60 tanks?" I seem to recall 55th_Lucas asking after the AAR came out. LoL...


In a true "Circle of Death". 214th ShAD Il2s decimated three separate panzer attacks...

I can't tell you how many times we fired up the LaGG for some good 'ol fashion ground pounding...
We used the LaGG alot back in the beginning. Still one of my favorites to fly. Albeit to my demise much too often.

Last FNBF and my first hardware problems during all these events surfaced. a restart quickly solved the problem. Thank you for all these friday night highlights. For this I am grateful. And thank you for having JU 52´s in the last event. That was really special to me. I hope you understand the importance of your work and how appreciated it was for so many.

I would not have flown this game for so long if it has not been for this event. Again many thanks

Really enjoyed last night, even if I had to crash land 3 times!

Thanks for the hard work, Tip, and the opportunity to fly with very competent, like-minded flyers.

It was always a pleasure, even when the cold sweats started due to tracers whizzing around my cockpit.

I thought it was a flak burst that got your tail but wasn't sure...

Actullay it has been two days since I have massive FPS drops in game and I was lucky that they happened only while I was still on the ground yesterday evening... Now that I think of it they started after a Win10 update...
