SCG_happy_meal Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 (edited) Yep. Same for Ju-88 and Ju-52 drivers. Perhaps folks don't want to get wet. Might melt. Whole of SCG have been granted R&R in Italy by HQ was a Little strange that the letter was dropped of by a fat/cigarr formed bf-110 with rounded wingtips. and i dont know why HQ started using cyrillic script. Waspy Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 i''ll grab that last g-2 if it's still available. Thanks. Schuck, I've been looking at the stats and it seems that a solitary Bf109 was shooting up our airfield then crashed a few minutes before you shot down Lucas. Which is why when I eventually spawned as Lucas was falling to earth, after waiting 'with 'Airfield Under Light Attack' for all that time, only to find you chaps circling above I assumed that you'd been there a while. So all suggestions of base-camping by your squad are gladly withdrawn . Cheers. That might have been me my engine died and i was forced to put it down at agoy then proceed to destroy some parked migs with my flare gun.

That might have been me my engine died and i was forced to put it down at agoy then proceed to destroy some parked migs with my flare gun. No it wasn't you. I noticed your kills and worked out that you got them on the way home, i.e. after the lone 109 incident. Don't think much of the Russian ground troops if they happily let you sit there firing flares at our aircraft! Agoy was a legit target though, so we'll let you off; but next time we're putting young Putin in a bunker with a rifle...
Nocke Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 (edited) Is there perhaps an IL2 left for me? Will have time. Edited February 22, 2018 by 216th_Nocke
Lusekofte Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Is there perhaps an IL2 left for me? Will have time. It looks like I am availeable tomorrow. I also confirm my presence in a JU 52. Hope to drop some crates on Nocke´s flying tank. At least from the beginnig and 2 hours
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I'll take one of those IL2s, thanks. You got it...
Memphis Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I would love to participate, but sadly I am sitting at work Have a good flight everyone! May the best germans win :DSee you in the skies, gents (Next week )!
Lusekofte Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Ok that was fun , Very well planned missions for the JU 52, if we had been one more JU 52 we would have managed to do the tasks before those damn IL 2 came and made havoc . I did not find the unloading spot west in the airfield, so I hope for a better and prefereable marked spot to unload. It was probably just my stupid reasoning. Anyway, refreshing and new to me. Very good company I will do this again 1
NN_RugbyGoth Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Great evening, the conditions were pretty hard but we are achieving a good coordination inside VVS and it's a very good point! Severskaya was a pretty hot point. I hope we saved most of our troops, at least the germans lost a lot of their HS129 there. S!
II/JG11_ATLAN_VR Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 yesterday on FNBF Operation Espionage "DUCK"Escort for Hs129´s Groundattackers we had a lot of fun as always thx for flying together and to Tip the great Mission Maker! 1
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 That is my hanging by the parachute, Atlan! You folks came out of nowhere! For the first time in a while I put in four sorties. The opener was a standard Il-2 escort with the occasional strafing. Unfortunately, we lost a pair of Il-2s to CFIT, while Alex and I were forced to abandon our aircraft by the group of Bf-109Gs that came onto us. The second time around went a little better. After being relieved in our CAP, we were en route to our new assignment when Alex spotted a single Heinschel right beneath us. Without hesitating we went in and sent the first one packing, rushing back to Severskaya where the rest were sure to be. Normandie confirmed this information, and together the four of us destroyed every single enemy bomber that entered that airspace. After having a little too much fun with a certain Heinschel pilot that decided to dogfight us, I overestimated my altitude and clipped my propeller during a dive, but the aircraft remained in one piece and I'm sure the ground crews at Severskaya can get it back working. Some seconds later said Heinschel stalled out and crashed. Alex was damaged by a Bf-109 but heroically ferried the damaged bird back to base on its last legs! Third sortie, with only two Yak-1s and two Il-2s left to our name we had to divide our attention as some Stukas were attacking Severskaya and Bf-109s found our Il-2s. Unfortunately, individually we were unable to stop either and the enemy succeeded in their mission. I was the only 216th pilot to return home from that sortie, landing with the fuel needle almost on zero. Finally, alone I went to Severskaya until our Il-2s arrived from a long haul trip, but when escorting them from there a Pe-2 in distress was being harassed by a Bf-110 and a Bf-109. I came to its rescue but the damaged Peshka succumbed to the attacks, leaving me alone with the two kids. While the Bf-110 was a piece of cake to handle, eventually overconfidence made me ignore the Bf-109 for a moment. It was all it took for Schuck (the restraining order is in the mail, mate ) to hit one single shot which killed my pilot instantly! Brilliant shot that was. After a very hot two hours in the air, I resumed birthday celebrations with pizza, beer and nice people. Thanks everyone for the great flying, particularly the boys of NN for the excellent cooperation 6

[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Ok that was fun ... Yes it was... ...at least the germans lost a lot of their HS129 there. S! I officially turned in my Hs129 card yesterday for the venerable Stuka... That is my hanging by the parachute, Atlan! You folks came out of nowhere! Thanks everyone for the great flying, particularly the boys of NN for the excellent cooperation Nice AAR. Flying cat and mouse in those conditions certainly made for some interesting predicaments and ambushes. That said. Lets hope the weather forecast brings at least a little sunshine for the next one please.

NN_RugbyGoth Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) Here is my little debrief : First Sortie: I miss a 109 that stalls: But Oscar doesn't We lost each others and try to regroup over Severskaya airfield tha tis under attack, There Oscar shoots a HS129 and is being shot down by 2 109s To be continued (How can I post more images??? It doesn't even let me make another post with the other images...) Edited February 25, 2018 by NN_RugbyGoth 5
NN_RugbyGoth Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I kiss the ground while trying to escape a 109 The weather reduced our abilities to turn fight, we can see Oscar's plane burning and his hs129 in the background We take off again in Yak 1Bs. In Severskaya we engage HS129 with Lucas and Alexmarine I successfully fire on Tip that finished hanging in a tree. 4
NN_RugbyGoth Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 We cover Alex and Lucas that dispose the Hs129s, but Lucas makes the same mistake as me before. Alex just shot down the last Hs129 when hhe is engaged by 3 109s, I say that to him and we engage them. I shoot down the one right behind him and the 2 others go kiss the ground as we did Lucas and me before 3
