JG1_Yogi Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hi Tip, Could you put me down for a 109G please?
Lusekofte Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Someone must film that JU 52 formation before it get decimated by our IL 2
FTC_Etherlight Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hey there, Sirs. Is there a FW for me to grab? I rather liked it the last time. :D
FTC_Etherlight Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Sorry for making work for you guys, but could you switch me into the 109 roster? Didn't know Vade would join, too and we usually fly together :3
Scojo Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I just found out that my plans are canceled this weekend since my friends are scared of a little snow. I won't get home this afternoon until right when this starts or maybe even 15 min late. Is that ok? How would coming in late work?

Generally not much of a problem, will probably not be on time today neither. But state what kind of plane you would fly
Scojo Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 It looks like the bomber guys could use another team member. I'll take a Pe-2 s.87 Thanks guys!

Retnek Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) NICE evening - thanks a lot! PS: and we learned the lesson a pilot fumbling with his flare gun is a deadly threat for his gunner Edited January 6, 2017 by 216th_Retnek 2
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) This was a TON of fun. More of it please. How about "Hangover Transport Night" someday? Edited January 6, 2017 by 6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann 1
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) It seems me and Giglio scared away all yaks from our 52s with our 3D rivets special skin Giglio is probably the best skin artist around. Edited January 7, 2017 by 6./ZG26_Gielow 1

Lusekofte Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Fun night, not my most efficient day, but fun it was. Chopped some wood for a Russian farmer, that is something 1
6./ZG26_McKvack Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) It seems like I was closer than I thought. Always ready to cut Klaus wing if he is naughty Link from my perspective http://imgur.com/a/RHfD6 Edited January 7, 2017 by 6./ZG26_McKvack
FTC_Etherlight Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Very nice mission, interested to see what we can do with the Ju-52 in the future (as long as I don't have to fly that airtruck). This mission was particularly action-packed and quite stressful at least for me, but a ton of fun! Thanks for participating, guys, and thanks to Tip and his crew for the mission, as always.
[DBS]Prody Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) i took some nasty hits from enemy fighters over the drop zone, engine no 2 stopped quickly and no1 was in a poor shape, however i manage to limp back to Surovikino without much trouble, i was surprised how well she flies with one and a half engines - around 180 km/h all the way back. Lusekofte Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 When this plane came I was angry I sold my yoke ..... Do not feel right flying her with a stick , ..... I know how it sounds , I just can't put it any better Crap that came out wrong too.....

Always ready to cut Klaus wing if he is naughty Link from my perspective http://imgur.com/a/RHfD6 And it's actually the correct Order in that Pic. I'm really happy with both Flights, despite the Disconnects. We did Coordinate rather well I feel.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) That 52 flight was amazing. Unfortunately I didn't capture the first sorty where we had to escape out of Verbovka in 5m alt with damaged 109s gliding down left and right to us and the sky filled with Yaks and paratroopers from the other Ju52 group. The second sortie was more calm but still exiting. Takeoff from Obliskaya Forming up in a right echolon In order: Klaus Mann (leader), McKvack, 5tuka, Nil and Chicky. Talking about close things... Turning in for final on our home airfield after sucesfully delivering the cargo to Skvory. Landing at Obliskaya. Final meeting on ground. Klaus Mann explains his gratitude that everyone made it back safely and spends everyone a beer. I'm looking forward to flying the 52 again next time Edited January 7, 2017 by 6./ZG26_5tuka 3
II/JG11_ATLAN_VR Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) thx all this event was amazing, nice Mission attached see some pics from my perspective as fighter escort for the "Tante Jus" later damage and down but this is the Name of the game Edited January 7, 2017 by II/JG11ATLAN 1
56RAF_Pod Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Very nice screenshots, all! It was a great night again, thanks. Lot's of targets and our fighters kept the enemy busy very well! What more can an Il-2 pilot wish for Edited January 7, 2017 by 216th_Pod 1
FTC_Etherlight Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Very nice screenshots, all! It was a great night again, thanks. Lot's of targets and our fighters kept the enemy busy very well! What more can an Il-2 pilot wish for True that. I have only seen the Sturmos once, because we were entangled with hordes of Yaks most of the time. At the end of the mission when our Stukas attacked a little village was the only time I encountered them in a colossal shitshow on the deck, a mess of Yaks, 109s, Stukas and Sturmos. 1
Jizzo Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 love the screenshots gents! what an awesome ju52 formation so sad i was not able to participate....
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Excellent pics... Awesome mission folks. The para-cargo, troopers, and landings amid furball and flak at the drop zone was epic. Expect more with the Ju-52 as just begun to explore its use within multiplayer. Tip
Lusekofte Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 I think me and my mates in 216 is going to snap those JU 52 in front of your nose next time :D kidding, it seems every body is happy with yesterday, and that is always good
Lusekofte Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Damn I was impressed by your 109 kill Jordan . The team work and staying together was much better yesterday also
216th_Peterla Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 It was cool when I was alive I got Tip's Stuka just to be shot down seconds later by other one in that awesome furball late in game. I think I recorded it, will post some pics later. S! 1
Giglio Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) It seems me and Giglio scared away all yaks from our 52s with our 3D rivets special skin Thank you Gielow, thank you all. I flew from the beginning to the last minute of the mission. Just like another, me and Gielow cut off the engine missing a minute to finish the mission! Great flight. 216th_Jordan Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Damn I was impressed by your 109 kill Jordan . The team work and staying together was much better yesterday also I was amazed too And I really liked the coordination, it was about one of the best I have seen yet! 1
FTC_Etherlight Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 I was amazed too And I really liked the coordination, it was about one of the best I have seen yet! Yeah, that was me. ^^ I was the only 109 there at the time and went a little too far in my panic to save the Stukas. I just lost my temper during that engagement and engaged in too many fights. Battlerage I guess. ^^ I counted about 4 or 5 Sturmos and 1 Yak that were engaged there with me and the Stukas. Easy to lose situational awareness in all that chaos. 1
Lusekofte Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Yes you gave us the time to stay within our range of fire. I tried desperately to fly alongside our smoking IL 2 so my gunner could help protect it, I was out of ammo since my bad aim against a Stuka waisted all of it.
