Had a good time locating the various recce points, but didn't see any confirmation messages re. targets that I flew over.

Strange, was on TS at what I though was the right time. I also saw the server ingame but both were just empty.

 

Given that and the fact I was too tired anyway, unfortunately I couldn't make it.

It seems the server behaved while I was asleep. Good if that's the case. I spent the day writing a web-application that allows to monitor and control DServer, and one thing it does is allow to schedule loading SDS files in advance. It's still very rough software, but I'll share it as soon as I've tested it a bit more.

Conversely FNBF is too early for the Americas so I think there's a good balance

Maybe we could do one at 3PM EST some time...too on a Saturday.  I mean that's an afternoon for us here on the East Coast..and lunch time for the guys out on the West Coast....and perfect gaming time for the Europeans...and it is a weekday...which should give more flexibility from a work day....like Friday.   We have trouble bringing in VVS here in North America, it would seem.

However I think 1800hrs EST on a Saturday ought to be a good compromise. It's a Saturday after all, it's more acceptable to have earlier events.

For this week I keep it at 20h00. But I plan to make a SNBF each week, 1 week at 15h00 or 18h00 (GMT-5). And the other week at 20h00 or 21h00 (GMT-5).

1. SITUATION: The Heinkell from the KG27 will transfer the 14th PzD HQ staff to our offensive position and will conduct bombing near of the Don river. The Zerosterer from the ZG1 and some Ju-87 will conduct Armored Recon Southern front.Bf109 and Mc202 will be ready for Escort and CAP. The cities area and our Southern factory are under heavy threat activity suspected.

2. MISSION: Elements of 4./JG52 will provide an ESCORT to be determined (Ju-87,He-111) and conduct flight operations in the sectors threated.

3. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Special teams and organization: Depending on who shows up, we will organize both the Schwarm and Rotte pilot slots accordingly and meet up on Team Speak.

B. Common uniform and equipment: Own summer skin.

C. Special weapons, ammunition and equipment: Cleared, armored windowed screen, fuel 400 liters.

D. Tentative time schedule: March 5th at 19:45PM EST (GMT-5)

4. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please make sure that all of your flight sim gear is operational before coming online. Considering that this event will be official mission for some squad. This must be seen not like one mission but a small campaign. We apply the DiD(for purpose) bust even if your die you can fly another 109 or something else after. I suggest that you take a look on this link  the rules for the number of planes available and how it should be play. here...d I'm sure the current tactical situation will be very fluid once we will know how many peoples we are.

 

VVS

Common misconception. You don't need to be good, so few of us would actually say that about ourselves, you just need teamwork. 1v1 can go either way but 2v1 seals the deal. Granted not every time but more often than not. I'm just happy to have some help.

I'll do my best to show up for the VVS, I'm PST so it'll be a perfect flight time for me.  I'm always complaining how none of the event's are favorable to my time zone, so when you guys do one that is, the least I can do is show up. 

 

Personally the 2000 EST is great for me, but I may be the only PST flyer with the balls to show up and fly VVS.  If you move it to earlier in the day for me It makes it more difficult for me, but you may gain the attendance of 10 Euro flyers so I get it....thus the nature of sim events.
