Jade_Monkey Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Manu, put me down as a *maybe*. The wife made some plans, so it all depends if I can weasel out or move things around
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I am so sorry I missed the match guys. I worked today and took an 'Old Man' nap when I got home. I actually just woke up 20min ago.
SCG_CorZero Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Brief AAR: Klaus and I took 111's from Moro, escorted by Neun and Lufty. Half way to target, Klaus dropped out with electronics failure (damn Russian jamming). I made a successful hit on the target AB, with a nice 1000 Kger on a hangar, and some extra 250s thrown in for good luck, laughing at the pitiful flak sent my way. About 1/3 way home a nasty Ruskie fighter showed up and my gunners started going nuts. Well, he found me so I jumped in the top turret and gave him some extra heavy metal, and with Lufty's assistance we sent him down. Alas, my engines were shot up and gave out right at the runway, but we all lived to fight again. Part way thru our second sortie, we heard that the Ruskies sued for a truce, so we called it a good day, mate!
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) It was short mission for me (got shot down early after my flight leader got struck by EMP ), but thanks to the 19.GIAP guys I had a good time they taught me The Way of the Steering with the LaGG Looking forwards to fly again with you guys (at SBNF or in normal servers). ~S~ Edited September 11, 2016 by -=PLR=-SuperEtendard

SC_Manu653 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 If no 110, I'll take a Ju-88A-4. For this mission it'only bomber but if you really want a 110 beware of the flak over the target !
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Is there a possiblity for the IL-2s to be mod 42?
SC_Manu653 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 Yes I will put some mod42 for the mission.
SCG_CorZero Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I'll take a bomber, any one will do, thanks!
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 For this mission it'only bomber but if you really want a 110 beware of the flak over the target ! I've been through that before. ZG26 tried to kill me one at a rail yard but I prevailed with 167 targets killed.
SC_Manu653 Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I've been through that before. ZG26 tried to kill me one at a rail yard but I prevailed with 167 targets killed. So you really want a 110 ? For me it's a job of 2 minutes. Edited September 16, 2016 by 4./JG52_Manu653
Jade_Monkey Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Seems like it's going to be really uneven. What do you guys do when this happens? Join a bigger server all together??
SCG_CorZero Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Might be late today, need to do some moving
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) So you really want a 110 ? For me it's a job of 2 minutes. Yes, but it looks a bit late now so I'll use the Ju-88 Edited September 17, 2016 by II./ZG1=SPEKTRE76
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Looks like I won't be able to participate :/ family business (grandmother birthday). Have fun and shoot down each other
hames123 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 For the next mission, could you have the server start a bit later. Sorry for being a fuss and bother, but the server is 5 am on Sunday for me!
SOLIDKREATE Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 No more? I think they only do FNBF now. I'll be hosting 24/7 in about 3 weeks. I have one mission almost complete for 84 players. 2
SCG_Neun Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 (edited) Looking forward to this Spektre...Looks really neat. Edited March 11, 2017 by 4./JG52_Neun
SCG_Neun Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Guys I will have a Tip_Tx mission up for Saturday 3:00 PM EST, which should be 8PM for most of our European friends, and we are open for 16 VVS players who would like to sign on. We will have a maximum of 32 players on the server and see how it plays. This is kind of a mini test to try and get SNBF going again. Just PM me and I will forward you the VVS briefing. Planeset is as follows: 18 Bf-110**** 18 He-111s**** 16 Ju-87s**** 22 109Gs**** 10 Mc202s**** ============================== 22 Yak 18 Pe-2 18 IL2 12 La-5 9 P-40 We might have room for an additional 4 Axis players as well. Based on the limitations in numbers we will more than likely limit the combat to a sector of the map, so we can maximize the possibility for some combat. Anyway, let's see how it goes. With TAW and RE down it might give us a little bit of excitement even with the reduced numbers... 1
Scojo Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I can't fly this weekend, but I will be sure to let my unit know about this! Hopefully I can join in on the next one 1
II/JG11_ATLAN_VR Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Hi still 1x bf109 available? Which server? only know fnbf Same server? Thx from germany
SCG_Neun Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) Guys, we just don't have enough VVS pilots to field an event today. I'll give more notice next time and we will see what happens. Spring is in the air....Thanks guys, anyways. Edited March 25, 2017 by 4./JG52_Neun
No_85_Gramps Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Could not make this one due to an ongoing home renovation project. Maybe I'll just take next Sat afternoon off for some flying.
Sketch Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 We at The Wet Bandits are starting up a new Saturday Bomber Flights campaign. These missions are entirely separate from [DBS]TX_Tips FNBF missions – who by the way, makes amazing missions – and are slated to run on Saturday in order to make the game available to all players in the western hemisphere, from California to the UK. The campaign starts this Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 1400 Central Standard Time. Like other campaigns, we’ll start in the early days of the war and each Saturday work towards the conflict’s conclusion. Of course, the outcome will be altered based upon the success of each side’s pilots in seeing their individual objectives completed. Each week’s destroyed objectives will be tallied up and the next week’s mission set will be adjusted based on those objectives. These missions are designed to be historical. That means no anachronistic GPS, Psychic Friends Network kill messages, whimsical modification of equipment that’s assigned to you, or magically having 100% fuel all of the time like you’re strapped onto a cold fusion reactor. You’ll have to contend with all of the things you manage in our standard daily missions, while also successfully keeping track of your location, friendly cover, fuel levels, and manually confirm your kills. Don’t worry if you’re not the best pilot in the world. The struggle to bring all of these things together is a great deal of the fun, and besides, The Wet Bandits welcome all levels of play into our campaign. All you have to do is sign up! Once you do register and pick a side, you can view your team’s mission briefing. You can sign up by clicking this link: https://goo.gl/3w5I7Q Below are the rules and procedures for our Saturday Bomber Flights. You'll notice that they're similar to FNBFs; that's because TX_Tip has given me full support to launch Saturday Bomber Flights. If you have any questions; pm me, or email pand@thewetbandits.org. Saturday Bomber Flights will have a total duration of approximately 2 and 3/4 hours. There are two distinct phases to the operation: A 12-minute ground operation, described in point #3 below A 150-minute (2.5 hour) airborne phase, broken into two parts: An initial 30-minute “mulligan period” outlined in point #4a The 120-minute main body of the mission, in which no new aircraft may be spawned except as outlined in #4b Once the server has fully loaded the mission, a 12-minute ground operation begins. No planes are to take off until the hold has been lifted. This wheels-down time can be used to pre-plan, taxi to the runway, and pick up any stragglers that are running late to the event. Following the 12-minute ground operation, pilots will see a HUD message with the phrase “Mission Start", and three green flares will be fired. Once pilots see these cues, the 2.5 hour mission timer has started, and all aircraft are cleared for take-off. The airborne phase: 4a) As soon as the official mission timer starts, a 30-minute “mulligan period” will be in effect. Pilots who render their aircraft unserviceable within the first 30 minutes of the mission timer are allowed to respawn into available aircraft. At the conclusion of this phase, a HUD message will appear with the phrase “Mulligan has now ended.”. 4b) From that moment forward, any players that die or are captured are excluded from the rest of that event. If you (the pilot) are not captured or destroyed, but your aircraft is lost, you can still get another plane as long as there are aircraft available at your airbase. HUD messages generally show up for objectives as they transpire throughout the mission. Your mission is to ensure the destruction of all targets outlined in your briefing, but be sure to keep an eye out for HUD messages indicating any further objectives. You must return to the base from which you took off from to get your plane rearmed and refueled. You are not allowed to change airbases. It should go without saying, but you are not allowed to change teams (German, Soviet) during the mission. Players may conduct a coordinated Airbase attack only on Enemy Bases which have been specifically stated as an objective in the mission briefing. There will be absolutely zero vulching permitted in any case. No Intentional Team Killing, or base camping is allowed. 1

Sketch Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Is there any way to sign up without having to create a Google account? I mean, I can add you to the excel sheet... but creating a Google account is free, and only takes a minute. It's much easier for me to manage a single form that multiple people automatically populate than to constantly add people to the form manually.
