was great time , i enjoyed flying with  all u guys ,spektre kept us straight , and we got targets.we were jumped at bridge, but 109s helped us alot <S> sirs and looking forward to next one, also i had 22 ground kills . hope to see you guys next week .

Here are the 110s on the way to bomb the mess out of anti-tank positions...We ended the mission with over 75 kills as a squad.  One of those being Krokdiler getting an Air to Air kill in his 110.  Nice work.

Vonalba was totally focused on the targets...He was quiet until the sh*t hit the fan over Bridge 340!!! Under fire he still was putting his bombs on target.

 

I also want to mention to PEZ that I was in the gunner seat of the 110 that you and the other Yak I believe were attacking on the deck after you shot me down.  Holy crap that was intense.  I was calling to Krokidiler when you guys were aproaching and which way you were passing us.  It was by no means any credit of mine but it was awesome to help fend you guys off!  I hope some of my shots landed as I am sure I shot the crap out of Kroks tail.  I saw one of you leaking bad but the other bugged out too?  We had severe damage to the right wing but Krok put her down back at home base nicely.  

 

When Spektre told the flight to dive and head 240 I knew we were under attack.  It was an awesome sight to see on the track all of the 110s diving full throttle for home and our escorts mixing with the Reds at 50m off the ground.  I saw a 109 go in hard soon followed by my own demise as I was lining up a shot on Curious Gambler.  <---You and Pez made a devastating attack early in the engagement.  I want to give much respect to the Red fighters this week.  Out numbered and outgunned and still you guys managed to cause havok within our ranks.  Taking out multiple aircraft with no advantage at all.  Pez watching you creep into the action at treetop level was a sight to see.

Oh man, I almost forgot how much fun Saturday was until you brought it all back!

 

First of all, serious credit to you. I was the second Yak with p3z, I had that 110 lined up over and over, only to have it dive ridiculously at the perfect moment. Seriously, I've never had a 110 give me trouble like that- I think you really saved Krok, and he did a great job maneuvering at a moments notice.

 

In general, I was really proud of how we did in that outnumbered engagement. P3z is a great fighter lead and we had a cooperative group. I'm glad it was a good time on the other side!

Something I put together quickly of a recent flight I had with comrades.  Best watched in 1080HD.  Also, five people listed as Pe-2 pilots yet only four in our flight.  Not sure which ones were the fourth.  Call out if you were the fourth pilot.

Lol, Grendal, you're too nice man. Curious and I were cursing that last 110 that we were chasing. I remember curiousGamblerr saying how he had never fought a 110 that knew exactly when to dodge, now we know why he knew that. Good defense you two, damn good defense. I put everything I had into that last 110 and so did curiousGamblerr, but we had to call off the attack due to battle damage, no ammo, and a fuel situation. When we began the chase curious wondered if he would have enough fuel to make it back if we chased you and krock. Thinking we would easily bring the lone 110 down I told him to chase. Yeah, five minutes later at full throttle with no ammo we realized that curious had leaked too much fuel to rtb, but we were able to get him back in friendly territory so he could set her down.

 

It was a good mission for all involved. The VVS got to engage, the LW escort got to practice protection, and the 110's got to exercise their ground attack then emergency egress. When we came into the area we saw a shit ton of 110's, but after the initial seconds of fighting only one or two were visible. I went straight for you because you were a 110 and I knew that your flight had called the egress back home... I didn't want the "package" getting away. Unfortunately though, the 110 I saw first was you

 

Anyway, I really wish I had recorded that engagement, I would have loved to make a little movie about it. All in all I'd say the LW was the clear victor in that fight despite suffering higher losses in the air. Our positions were obliterated and despite the damage dealt, our mission was to protect that area and we failed

 

Good times though, and if I had the ability to put more than six defenders up I think we would have seen a much more intense and pitched battle.

 

I need to mention snake as well (or my eyes in the sky). He was the one who spotted the enemy aircraft first and drew first blood. Sadly he bought it in a head-on pass with krock. If only he hadn't we could have gotten krock. Snake is a sniper and without that long range aim, curious and I were doomed to miss our shots with that amazing gunner/pilot teamwork y'all were doing. Still though, win or lose, these missions are a helluva lot of fun and I always look forward to them. But now the 19th Guards is growing (welcome our newest member... Manu :D) and we will be able to mount a stiff defense and even a sharp offense in the future.
