SOLIDKREATE Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I had an amazing time!!! EXCELLENT TEAM WORK by all involved. It is very refreshing to fly with people who actually care about the quality of their work. 1
[CPT]Pike*HarryM Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Yes, that was a lot of fun. Kudoes to the Yak drivers who had the courage to take on 7 110s plus a couple of 109 escorts. 1
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I aar ya, and was a great time tonight, we all enjoyed on the VVS side; long live the Reds! need to look at those targets the PE2's had hit we had no explosions on the 10x 100 bombs either there's a bug with this type off load out, or bug with the fusing?
SC_Manu653 Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 Ok here is the debrief I gave to my unit. Sorry if it's not understandable !!! I already knew that will be a tough mission tonight. When yesterday Lt. Barkhorn(Neun) and Scheiss(Hund) drunk too much after they 've gone to the mess. I already knew that Gerd will not fly today the medical told it to me but Scheiss was still too asleep for fighting. So I decide to call for supply a member by the chain of command and got Lt Tzigy(AW_Tzigy). We were only 5 for our duty and I was in need of three elements at least. So as usual in the Luftwaffe we try to make the impossible possible. To do so I can count on Oblt Marseille(Jizzo) to do the crucial and difficult task of splitting is duty in two objective with Lt Kutscha(Doughboy) and Lt Tzigy. For my part I will command the second element with Lt.Hartmann(Bubi).Yesterday the primary defensive task was to prevent the southern factory of bombing from medium bomber and the secondary to prevent the cities in the area of the Chirr river like Surovkino and Sekretov of any planes incursion. This heavy task was hold by ObLt. Marseille. The offensive task was under my command and was to CAP the sector of the armored recon for the 6./ZG1 and his support from other units. They were doing on both side of the Don River from the bridge to Kumovka any ground attack on visual contact. To be able to accomplished our goal we were needed to flew 3 missions. During the first mission we decided to rejoin the Bf-110 to give them a escort since the Fliegerkorps was unable to fulfill the 109E7 for escort. Since we were CAP the same sector it was logical to give them an escort. It was a beautiful scenery to be witness of 8 multi-engine circling around Sekretov above the Chirr River leaded by Lt Spektre from the 6./ZG1. Sadly since we are in need of resupply we've got planes not ready to fly so it wasn't suprisly that 2 Bf-110 were smoking before the target, the Fliegerkorps was aware but Goering's friends didn't answer our call again. We flew along with the 6./ZG1 until they spotted along the railway near of the bridge on the Don River some targets and begun their majestic attack run from 1.5km of altitude. It was like a swarm of bee turning and diving to their prey. During their run they've been jumped by Yak, some of the Yak hit the bombers. We were able to destroy one Yak but been damaged too. So Lt. Hartmann belly land and I bring my oily smoking plane at Sekretov airfield and the Zersoterers alone. We managed as squad to bring down at least 5 fighters and get one killed as me and two bail-out and some damaged planes return to bases. It was a good one. The elements from ObLt. Marseille did a great job at 4 km of altitude alone with 4-5 medium bomber and an escort of 3-4 fighters. They were fighting overwhelmed and Lt Kutscha play it conservative to stay alive when he was alone after a piece of the VVS fighter hit his rottenfuhrer plane's. During the second mission we were in need my own element ot play it defensive and give it away when we were overwhelmed over Kumovka after that we destroy an Yak over Tusov just West of Kumovka our target. Probably the VVS sent some reinforcement over Kumovka because we were rapidly engaged and I was damaged and leaking fuel. We decide to head back and I nearly land without fuel at Surovkino. At the third mission the Fliegerkorps ask us to neutralize the VVS air superiority over Kumovka. The rotte of Oblt.Marseille was already over Kumovka and I made an mistake to go directly with my rotte to Kumovka. The way to do it should be to rejoin the second rotte at a RV point to get some numeral superiority or even at least. My mistake cost me my rotte and like supposed we enter in combat overwhelmed already. We were able to destroy one but his wingman ''uRpark'' put some lead at my extend into my head. Here is the Combat After Action report from Lt.Hartmann (Bubi)Mission 1: I was flying wing to Major Molders in a CAP and protect mission in the area of Kurmovka. We took off from Morozovskiy South and joined with a group of Bf 110's of 6./ZG 1. We escorted the 110's to their target, at which time we observed enemy aircraft diving on the 110's. Major engaged and downed one YaK-1, before I was struck by another YaK and forced to belly land in friendly territory. I was given a ride back to Morozovskiy by an Opel Blitz belonging to a supply unit.Mission 2: I was flying wing to Major Molders once again in a CAP and protect mission in the area of Kurmovka. We We took off from Morozovskiy South and proceeded east towards the target area. Just west of Kurmovka, I observed an enemy aicraft and we engaged. Major Molders and I fought with the YaK for some time, before it dove towards the airfield, at which time I scored several hits on the fuselage, causing it to stream smoke. I then became under attack from another aircraft, so I was not able to observe the aircraft destroyed, but Major Molders confirmed the kill. We were outnumbered by several aircraft and after Major Molder's aircraft was damaged, we returned West and landed at Sekretov.Mission 3: I was flying wing to Major Molders once again in a CAP and protect mission in the area of Kurmovka. We took off from Morozovskiy South and proceeded east towards the target area. We observed an enemy over Kurmovka airfield and proceeded to engage it. During the fight, I was set upon by another aircraft and forced to bailout southwest of Kurmovka after my aircraft's controls were damaged. I then observed two aircraft collide, one later being identified as Major Molders, and crash into the ground. I did not see any parachutes before the aircraft were destroyed. I made my way south towards the lines and eventually made contact with a unit of Panzer's who provided me safe passage back to the rear and finally a ride back to Morozovsky South. End of Report.-Lt. Bubi Hartmann

seafireliv Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Pc broke on me. Had to do a complete reformat. Think of it as the engine exploding on me and injuring me for that battle. Good news is, the pc starts up in 12 seconds now! And the game seems faster on Win 7 instead of Win X Will be back for next saturday. 1
