Do you have to land at the same airfield that you take off from ?

No. You can land on any active airport of your coalition. Most likely, you sat on an inactive airfield. The active from the inactive can be distinguished on several grounds:

  1. On the active airfield have a fire.
  2. On the active airfield has a windsock 

If you provide a link on your flight, I can look in the log of the mission and tell you exactly where you landed. In the log there are the coordinates of the landing.

The landing site is marked with a red arrow. There 
also has an airfield, but the mission he was inactive. Blue arrows indicates the active airfields.

In the future, we will make on the site map, which will be marked all the events occurring with the player. Everyone will be able to see where he landed the plane, where he was shot down, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to investigate this. My beacon was on a bearing for losinki, as I passed over the airfield I landed at, it swung around to the NW making me think I had reached my destination. 

 

Guess the moral of the story, is to try not to lose track of where we are, and not to rely too heavily on the radio beacons.

Radio beacons are installed only on the rear airfields! On the front of the beacon there! Logistics on the map Moscow one always is Vyaz'ma.

 

 

There, by the way, in your mission, the railroad served as a good landmark. Be careful))

Why not adding big smokes to some damaged/destroyed ground objects. I saw it in WOL and do not observed any performance penalty. That thing add a lot to enhance environment, immersion of war going on and navigation. BTW I'm glad that you guys left buildings in cities because competition don't even in Stalingrad...

As the experiment. Changed the new statistics, the penalties for the death of a pilot and prisoner.

  1. Pilot's death = -200
  2. Captured pilot = -150

What is this for? I would like to see movement on the out down and up depending on the success of the pilot. If you have your options, feel free to suggest them.

Well this will keep out those "I will ram that plane if I have to!" pilots. It's good i think

Upd for new statistic.

Attention! Next mission will be the following changes:
 
  1. Changed "Danger ratio". Now coeff. does not evaluate a specific situation at a specific moment. He just considers the ratio of active pilots. In fact, the usual ratio is calculated. But, at that exact moment. What gives? A more obvious situation for the pilot. If the enemy has more forces then the player will get more points and Vice versa. No longer will large values of the combat effectiveness of the two bombers intercepted. It happened that the pilot acted alone, of all the allies were on the ground, and the enemy aircraft was in the air. Because of this there is a strong bias and the player received are not reasonable and are not obvious bonuses.
  2. Disconnect to save virtual lives will lead to the cancellation of 300 points. (Hint: that would not fall under the sanctions of the algorithm, straight out in the brief on the button "finish off" waiting 15 seconds for the timer.) Disconnect may not be intentional, but the program will still write off 300 points of combat effectiveness.

Sorry. That did not translate well.  What do you mean by *glasses* combat effectiveness?   Glasses are spectacles to help you see better or they are drinking vessels made of glass.

I belive he wanted to say we dont have to land at the end of the missions to get the points/mods. We can get them surely even if we are still in the air, and the time is up

It's not necessary. Go with friends that have someone to talk to in English or any other language. You will not expel. If needed, we can create a separate channel.

Hi. Gave the information to the staff. Maybe somewhere a bug. Should be a +1 modification.

Keep getting disconnected, no error info or anything. I even signed up on your website. Only once was able to fly, i can sit all day on the ground but after i take off it's kicks me out of server. Every single time.

Increased modifications by 1 to compensate bug.

 

Sometimes it happens. Dont know why. In new version of server commander I'll make new logs parser instead of using third parties stuff.

In the stats I previously had 4 fighters and 1 bomber available.  After the last sortie now I have 3 fighters and 1 bomber.  Haven't lost any aircraft.  Landed at airfield.  Not a big issue, thought I would give you a heads up.

This increase is for everyone, because Im in same situation, got kill ,landed but no modifications point gain?

That would explain it.  It's been a while since we've flown this server.  I didn't think the garage kicked in until there were 4 members active, there are only the two of us.  Also I don't see stats for squads, does the whole garage thing still exist?

The destruction of trains on the server is considered as a simple - to destroy a locomotive. In statistics, the new, the destruction is also considered, but the number of points is given based on the total composition. Only after destroying the locomotive, the target will be destroyed, but points in the statistics will go lower, as if it were destroyed the whole composition.

 

 

Уничтожение поезда на сервере, считается просто - нужно уничтожить локомотив. В статистике, в новой, уничтожение так же считается, но количество очков выдается исходя из всего состава. Уничтожив только локомотив, цель будет уничтожена, но очков в статистику пойдет меньше, как если бы был уничтожен весь состав.

I don't know the whether the new stats are supposed to be live or not.  There are issues however.  I assume you would like us to point these out.  These may be a known issues.

 

A quick comparison of my sorties between the old and new will show that 2 P-40 flights are not reflected in the flight log of the new stats.  Apparently the kills are included in the totals, just the details are missing.

 

A very minor issue I noticed is that my rank is listed as Corporal, which was a lieutenant before.

 

Overall I really like the new stat pages and the way kills and points are awarded.
