Looks like taking a load and less fuel is no good idea to earn some points, hm? Ok, "empty loadout" you told us above ... :rtfm:

You cannot earn more than 3000 by supply. 1000 per pilot is a suppliable limit.

Above 3000 you have to earn by fighting and ground kills.

ju 52 objectives added:

 

Drop troops in marked locations. When 30 troops landed alive, it gives +1 to Key Position capture. Works once for one KP.

I have a question regarding server economics: if I understand correctly, the more a plane (and its loadouts) is used the more expensive it becomes. However, is there a mechanism to decrease it's price? I mean, planes get more expensive every mission but do they get cheaper somehow?

If aircraft not used during 25 missions - it becomes cheaper down to default price.

Also, price could be slightly downed by using another payload, available for this aircraft.

I defended a Soviet artillery position close to a dropzone and I noticed that sometimes the dropzone was emitting a column of black smoke

 

Is it a signal?

Does it means there is a Ju52 close to the dropzone or something like that?

 

 

 

 

(or is it just completely random? xD)

Unfortunately only those who install it will se it, I recommend everybody to install this one or else you would see custom german skin and shoot it down

Uh, it seems very difficult for Axis to defend their drop zones from Soviet Ju-52s.  Who will want to risk friendly fire, until they start to drop their soldiers?  It would also be very easy for Soviet pilots to mistakenly shoot down the Soviet Ju-52s as well.

I think players should reach an agreement what skins to use.

We intentionally did not restrict skins to let players make their choice. If this became a problem, I could make a kick mechanism for takeoff in a restricted skin.

Mh this could be a problem if people use custom skins on Ju52 (Soviet side), since they would be displayed with a German skin by default :/

I implied that only official skins will be allowed for Ju52. For example - the red one will be for Soviet side and default for German.

Small bug report :

 

-Killed when clicking spawn ... again ...

 

-Crashed and killed while I was somewhere near 15-20 meters above ground ... server was very laggy at the moment

Kick for restricted takeoff turned on. I made some corrections, it should work correctly for squads now.

Hello, may I have a question? Why I was kicked from server while flight when I attacking on groupe of Me-110's. I shot down two plane and while escaping from combat i was kicked. It has happened several times and I think that I have done nothing against the rules and I had credits.

That's bad showing in the game because it showed the price of the aircraft was under 1000 point. P-40 /1686/FAB-500

And flight one hour ago when I have 1189 credits and plane cost was 1100?

Payload cost may (de)increase between missions. Depending on payload usage last 25 missions.

Drop zones are working fine  :salute:

 

If we can have in the future droping supplies missions for surrounded troops and using cargo options instead of empty loadout for supply runs it will be perfect !!

Do the 72AG/DED people feel strongly that the Ju-52 should be available to the Soviet side?  I understand that not having it makes it impossible for the Soviets to perform parachute drops, but it seems a bit of a mess.

Pls can you check normal server's warehouse damage? Last mission, warehouse was bombarded with 6 x 1000 and 1800kg boms. It stood still..

There should be 2 sections of the WH with a max distance between sections around 2 km.

 

We haven't found the second one yesterday, let's try to look around better..

Hello, did a number of test flights and another one with Vadamar to locate 2nd sec of warehouse.

 

Pls can you check if 2nd section of WH spawns in normal servers?

 

2km is not a big distance. Unless 2nd section WH is a tiny house, two pilots loiyering the air space 10 mins cannot miss it.

Yes I can. But i need more information. Have you track of this mission?

 

In future - please always record a track if something goes wrong.

Latest changes:

  1. Dropzone now gives +1 to KP capture for 30 troops landed and once again +1 for next 50 troops landed (80 at all). Works once for one KP.
  2. New fighters price calculation method. Fighters price now calculated from base value defined as: (horse powers at nominal/fight mode) * (maximum speed at low alt) / 3000. Data taken from the game.
  3. For all aircraft types: default weapons payload now less affected by economics.

Hey Crusader ! Nice to see smokes on drop zone .... But after playing 10 days of autumn, I would really enjoy more smokes and ground fire and explosions near the frontline on the "offensive arrow" ... It is actually lacking regarding immersion .... And with dx11 , it might not lower fps anymore !

 

Could you give it a try ?

Hi Cru, I see that Normal server has been updated with drop zone. After this update, I also see that warehouse spawns 2 sections instead of 1.

Monkey see/monkey do, I suppose.

 

Your suggestion is very good however.  People wanting to fly transports will have their chance.  While the extra ground targets for the reds would bring more aircraft across the lines and make the transport's lives more challenging too.

 

This habitual doubling up of features only halves the potential of the game.

Hum, I would say that the big problem for Russian transport is the skin. Many of Russian Transport Pilot take the Special Skin for avoiding confusion.

Balancing with ground target seems tricky in my opinion, but meanwhile Russian pilots seems to Enjoy Tante Ju, proof, a flight with no less than 3 Russian fighters for escort despite plenty of ground objectives left.

I don't think Russian Ju-52 is a good idea. We should need something different for VVS. It's really an immersion killer in this way.
