And no Sortie Log to prove that this fuc*ing Yak straffed Soviets and shot at our Pe-2s returning from a bomber raid yesterday evening... :/

 

 

I have a track to see his nickname, but I launched the track too late and he already shot... so no video proof

We hoped to have the proof with the Sortie Log since he damaged Pe-2s (with navigation lights on...) and he straffed fighters on our own base... but since Sortie Logs didn't record on website, do you have a way to find it? :/

It clearly wasn't a mistake... Is there a way to ban definitely somebody on this server?

Where is the link between a guy doing a serie of mulple teamkills on purpose, supply rule and kamikaze attitudes?

The serious! You can never stop a kamikaze or an idiot with rules which will not effective and limit all honest pilots at same time. With enough points, idiot does what he wants (kamikazes with 10 000 points is possible you know)... As you yourself proposed in your prevent message and like I said many long time ago, only the ban will work and will not hinder the others.

Yeah, I also think many people will likely refuse to fly the other side, no matter how imbalanced it is.

I agree with you. 

Auto balancer in not adapted in this gameplay because the planes are so different so they would not likely to change side. 

A yak has a different behavior than the bf109 for example. We can not expect 109 pilot to fly a Yak most likely.

Autobalance would be good only if each side has the same planeset which is not valid in this simulator.

I think autobalance does not make sense in this campaign type server. I don't want to undo all the progress I have made flying for one side. Since it is especially the long term consequences which make this type of game play attractive, I do not think it will have any effects except less people joining.

Statistics repaired.

 

About the autobalancer. It has very flexible configuration abilities. By default its config is worst thing I could imagine. But now I can set it up any way I want.

 

Many of you wrote before, that 60 vs 20 ruins gameplay. And I agree with you. Why are you so angry about this type of solution?  :huh:

 

For example: balancer could stay disabled until 40 aircrafts will be spawned simultaneously.

I am a little curious what the player that did add two 100kg bombs to the mc.202 did achieve with them,

 must have been something spectaculare to make them cost 1750 when the plane cost 250  :)

amazing, 4 planes from squadron start when start server, when landed cant play more:(  nice very good job. now many players can looking for serwers where can play as squadron

but its war, if have 41 rus  and 20 ggermany too Ok .   i see more problem campers

disable the autobalancer please............. ur server was our favoured squad-server, with autobalancer on, lots of members cant come on the same side at the same time, then they leaving frustrated.........yea, its boring :D

14 of the top 20 players fly Red so the overall numbers (more Germans) don't matter so much.

Actually, I was asking for a balance some weeks ago and I proposed a balance by numbers, thinking it could be a solution even if it could make some players change server.

 

But nowadays I think you achieved a pretty correct balance just by tweaking the objectives (VVS can destroy convoys easily and have more difficulty on warehouses, when it's the opposite for Luftwaffe) and the economy (not perfect here but in good way in my opinion)

All of those adjustments made that now even a 45vs25 can be defendable, when it clearly wasn't the case before (thanks to the less camped airfields...)

Yesterday evening we successfully defended the last two Soviet tanks alive from a column during the last 15 minutes of the map, outnumbered by Germans incoming from everywhere, gosh it was a moment of pure tension, but so exciting  :happy:

 

So yeah, I think that now a balance by numbers isn't the right solution.

A proverb in French says "Only idiots don't change their minds"... I guess it's applicable here!

I played regularly despite the first two years of every war I faced the situation like 4 VVS vs +20 LW. The only effect any restriction of player numbers has on 9 out of 10 player is that they just stop play. That's something no one wants to see. The only feasible way I see to balance number is limited the top tier planes for overpopulated side.  On the other hand if there is a suitably balanced plane set, the only way how to prevent the stalemate on front is to achieve a numerical advantage. So balance the number of player could be counterproductive. Just my two cents.

 

Anyway I'm happy you remove that restriction in general. You have made an astounding job with your campaign and more over it's good to see you listen the player's feedback.

I do not think a server can host custom skins and lock it, but we have to begin with something...

Soon I'll make a restriction of skin usage on Ju-52 to prevent frienldy kills.

That is good, I always thought a Russian official skin for Russian would be good, because we do not have C47 for Russians (yet)

This one is not good because it is a civil one (pre war)  but there is the red star.

Did you add a time penalty after death?

 

Got one shoted by a German AA (as always...) and I had a 200 sec penalty for spawning?

It can pretend to be TB-1 :cool:  they were retired in 1948

Yes. 3.5 minutes penalty after death.

1.How many credits do we get for each supply run in the 52??

 

2.Do we need to fly 15 minutes to supply run count??

 

3.Can we take cargo or we need to have empty load out + 100% fuel to count??

1. 2000

2. No flight time required. Only run between 2 airfields, no matter how far (at least 5km distanse between them)

3. Empty loadout for now. Fuel doesnt matter.

Have you changed the leaderboard scoring somehow? Said went from 10,000K to 23,000K in 4 missions and I just jumped 2,000K in a mission. What has changed?
