I found maybe a bug, i think if you are in flight when you finish the mission = you loose plane credit.

3 disconnects tonight which for me never happens.  The sortie log says nothing except for disco so is there any way of finding out why?

Empty only, you can choose your fuel load freely.

I fly all the planes, why do you specialize in 1 plane ? You have 20 planes at your disposal in BOS/M.

 

Because of "be average in all, good at none"  ;)

I'm not sure about this, we often taxi, park and turn off the engine after landing. Canceled status is not a usual thing.

 Is it worth attacking the headquarters?  Does it affect in any way?

I have seen the same question, throw in post # 805, but I do not see a clear answer.

When you start flying on the server you get some amount of credits, and every plane cost some, for example mig costs 200 credits, if you take stronger armament it will cost 300 credits and so on (the prizes arent right its just for example) peshka with bombs will cost more then fighter etc, etc, if you land your plane on airfield you get your credits back + some for air/ground kills or even for time in the air, if you loose a plane you loose your points depending if you die or do an emergency landing or bail out

 

to answer your question, in payloads tab you see what every aircraft with different payloads is worth

No clear answer but it SEEMS that destroying the Head Quarter induces the destruction of a key position.

 

I'm absolutely not sure about this, I'm just guessing based on in-game observations...

The few time I saw an Head Quarter blowing up, a key position was destroyed 15-30 seconds later... coincidence or real effet, I dont know.

It's a simple statistic of payload usage on the server. It displays to show dependence of aircraft/payload popularity and its cost.

I confirm this, I always turn off my engine after landing on all servers, and never had any canceled flight issue.

It must have something to do with the mission/server settings. Or it is a bug introduced with the new update.

I need to check that on another server.

 

Edit : I just remembered that yesterday we (4 pilots) flew two sorties on RE+, landed on both and afaik engine turned off in both (well, on the second one the runway turned off mine for me :blush: ). We had correct results in the first one and everybody got the canceled flight result on the second one.

Not sure if it is the right place to ask, but we are just coming back from a raid on russian tanks. And for some reason, we all experienced difficulties to attack them because they vanish from the screen very quickly.

I'm playing with balanced settings and if I get further than 1.5-2km from them, I can't see them anymore, just a bunch of empty camo nets. Very annoying.

Like if the rendering sphere for ground target was limited to 2km instead of the usual 10km. The ground units are still there though because the others can still see them if they are close enough.

 

Is it due to server settings or a side effect of the new update ?

I have a question, why statistics on last map in first campaign dont count to overall statistics on website?

It's always like that with IL2 Stats. Statistics count by tours (you can change tours on the right).

On WOL for exemple it's by month.

On RE+, you have 3 tours for now, Open Beta Test, Campaign #1 and the current Campaign #2

I know, but statistics from last map in campaign 1 - before the message on website "Tour "Campaign #1" ended." was counted like a new mission in campaign 2 - then anybody rename that "November 2016" and back to "Campaign 2". But statistics - air kills and ground kills was deleted. Last mission "Campaign 1" from yesterday is not counted to statistics for overall "Campaign 1"

 

If i look on last sorties from yesterday, that flights missing on roster. Last mission is not in Campaign 1 or 2. Just missing.

No more Yak-1b / La-5 at the end of this mission, any link with the invisible "industrial area"?

And I discovered that artillery positions changed too...

 

 

 

And can you say what DOES A DESTROYED HQ... question was asked multiple times, seems like only Germans know what it does since they delete it on every map...

 

Can we have clear information when you change something on the server seriously?

Can I suggest an adjustment maybe to the Soviet HQ?

Impossible to defend it when only 4-5 Jujus and Heinkels are enough by delivering each 2 tons of bombs from 6k alt... Compared to the dozen of Pe-2 needed to destroy the German one, it's wayyyyyy easier...

Today the mission ended when two fi my men in the air and to our surprise, when the next mission was launched, we discover we have lost the credits of those planes. Was there a change on the rules? Thanks. Mission number was 245 (20/11/2016)

Actually it was not...

Unfortunately I cant make any changes during weekend while server is full-load in prime time. On monday I'll make much server-side updates. I hope to fix this issue.

HQ now has 2 stages to destroy.

1st, when you destroy about 170 objects - it shows, that Soviet/German HQ destroyed and each Key Position of relevant coalition got +1 to their capture.

2nd, when you destroy about 250 objects - it shows that Soviet/Germain industrials destroyed and coalition relevant to destructed industrials gain very strong aircrafts restriction.

all of those affect only one mission during it happens.

 

About balancing. We will think on it. But anyway - we will affect price calculations to make more effective payloads more expensive. Payload locking - is not our way.

Hi,

 

72AG_Crusader, we have a bug on our quadron, every member who join us in this campaign for the first time bring 10000 credits with them.

But we don't spend any credits for our loses. I think some other squadrons have the same bug but it's rare, like Trash-Shapito I believe.

 

This bug happens to us from the beginning of the campain.
