My suspect comes from what I read in the info section of the server's website:

 

Each mission can include the following types of ground targets, which have their own "value in points" and that immediately after the destruction of targets are added only to the team score:

 

    Rear warehouse - 0

     

    Field warehouse - 0

    (NOTE: Since there is no bonus points, the only way to add anything to the team score - successfully land your plane on allied airfield.)     

    Airfield (can be disabled for 20 minutes with bombing of runway) - 500

     

 

   Successful tank attack (captured settlement or airfield, depending on the mission.) - 200

     

    Motorcade - 250

     

    armored column - 350

     

    train - 100

     

    Group of ships - 200

     

    Artillery position - 150

     

    bridge - 70

It looks it doesn't work...yesterday I saw all my bombs hitting the runway of an active airfield but I got no chat confirmation, no "victory" in the final mission summary and no points for my side. I'll try to hit some airfield object and see what happens.

Something is strange about my ban. In my last sortie, there is no record of me hitting a friendly unit. And my fair play index is still 100%. Weird.

I did read it, and tried to understand. Maybe it's too complicated for me 

 

I took a supply plane, did land at a forward field, but that didn't change anything. Is there a way to see how many points I have ? How can I see, wether my supply flight was succesfull ?

Bombing an airfield may disable it for only twenty minutes?  That means by the time you return to base it is already active again.  That must be very frustrating.

Why did I get "banned" for 167 hours!?!  I got kicked after I attacked an AA that was firing at me.  I've never been banned from a server in my life and I have decades of sim experience.  Like WTF?

 

 

Edit: I see from the stats that I have 4 friendly ground kills but I think the problem is that the enemy and friendly ground forces are ** SO CLOSE ** to each other that friendly fire might happen.  I literally attack the area I was getting fired at from--I know what AA looks like firing at me.  I can't figure out how the ground combat is arranged on this server it seems.

When my ping is over 35, I get a screen message and then I lose connection. This happens often when I bomb airfields from altitude, when bombs hit the ground. Is it normal? I often play in Cliffs of Dover servers with ping higher than 100 and nothing happens.

And in general I am in favor for friendly kill being punished by ban, but a week is a bit exaggerated, 2-3 days sounds more logical IMHO of course.

Or gradually raise it after continued friendly kills within a time period,

e.g. Timeframe of one week or 10 days, 1st= 1 day ban, 2nd= 3 days ban, 3= 6 days ban, and so on.

 

On the other hand I have ideas but I don't know how hard is this to implement in the script or even possible.

Today after bombing an enemy artillery position my friend and I where banned for 167 hours !!.... no reason founded !!??....

We love your server but thoses kind of things are really painfull specially with not so much people playing online ...

Is there any info on when the status command will be working properly again? Yesterday i basically had to guess how much planes i had but this is very hard. Besides status command not working properly i really love this server and the crowd you guys are attracting with it!

FUBAR, it happens from time to time the script not to work, another indication is the inability to create a squad or no status report. :/

Good day, winter is present on the server. Only 1 mission in rotation. we increased the issued points x2 when  supply mission is completed. Ban reduced to 15 minutes

I fly there this evening when one reported the Supply did not work, I had just taken off with a Supply PE 2 and thought it was worth a try anyway. And it did work. I went from 0 to 2 planes in one PE 2 supply trip. I chatted the results and got a reply it worked for another also. So 1 not working and two did at the same time. 

I stopped the engine before I exited the server and got the message right after

Thanks for reducing the ban duration.  You will not find many team killers on a full realism server so friendly kills are completely accidentally in almost all cases.

Can you put the way Target Reconaissance Works in the OP as well? Is it a vertical Cylinder of a certain Radius around the Aircraft or a Sphere? What is tha Radius?

My sorties from the last couple of days are not being registered on the server.  In addition, my rank is listed as a question mark and I'm not shown in the overall rank list (c.f., http://72ag-ded.ru/en/pilot/5397/II./JG77_Limbo/?tour=9 ).  Any ideas what's up?  I'm not seeing any data from September starting on the first on the server at all like mission details and data from other pilots I've seen logged in.

 

Edit:  Okay, I see what's going on here....a new campaign starts each month and my bookmark to my profile was showing the stats from the previous campaign.

I frequently have had the same problem.  I think some of the scenarios cause this.

 

Also, were map icon turned on for the player's plane on this server recently?  I saw it on yesterday when I was flying.  The main reason I fly this server (versus Wings of Liberty) is that I enjoy having to do the navigation realistically for myself and not cheat with a GPS style icon on the map.
