TP_Jacko Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Folks, As BoS does not allow aircraft numbers to be selected from ingame, it would be useful if there is a master template with a selection of numbers, styles and maybe colours. What I am thinking is there are many squads who want to make custom skins and may not have a fully trained skin maker and maybe this sort of template would help them.
216th_Peterla Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 (edited) Check this(Post #78, you need to scroll almost all the way down), Is for VVS aircraft mainly: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/20181-mig-3-skins/page-2 It can be useful. Regards, Peter Edited January 1, 2016 by peterla 1

Jade_Monkey Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 This is great guys! Does anyone know where to get the letters? Something similar with A-Z?
216th_Peterla Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) This is great guys! Does anyone know where to get the letters? Something similar with A-Z? I updated the PSD template with an additional one with letters. The letter PSD has 4 variations of each font as shown in the pic: Red with white outline, white, red and yellow. The layers are hidden, you only need to select the one you want to use. Note that I add a folder with the default windows fonts that I use for this letters. Follow the readme for instructions of how to install the font. If one of our Russian friends want to add some light here please be my guest and I will try to correct any mistake. Edited January 6, 2016 by peterla 2
xvii-Dietrich Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Does anyone know where to get the letters? Something similar with A-Z? Luftwaffe fuselage letters were done with a standard font DIN 1451 (DIN-C) which was introduced in 1931. There are several places where you can download this font for free as a .ttf file (a quick Internet search on "Din-C font" will find them).
Jade_Monkey Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Thanks! I found the fonts in the simmmers paint shop (closing now).
