If they did go Kuban or similar, the smart thing to do would be to also include some simpler online maps of desert and sea/fields and coastlines.  It will scratch the itch and attract more customers without the added development costs of making a not very good campaign to go with them.

That would be a pretty great idea. Something nice in the scale of Novosokolniki would do the trick. As of now most Axis aircraft already have official desert skins so it would be a pretty easy way to satisfy the audience that craves USAAF/Commonwealth vs. Axis action without alienating the post-Soviet market.

The precedent of including another map is already set with Velki Luki, included with BoS, legitimised the historic inclusion of FW 190

 

If Kuban is the next theater, including a relevant Western desert or Tunisia etc. Map for the  lend lease and Axis aircraft to operate on could be a very good idea indeed
