I'll explain:

My gran-grandfather:

Kpt. Konstantinov Andrey Filippovich, 1910 - .III.45, MiA, Balaton area / Hungary.

 

His elder brother with two sons:

Priv. Konstantinov Aleksandr Filippovich, 1906 - 25.VII.43, KiA, Leningrad front.

Priv. Konstantinov Grigoriy Aleksandrovich, 1922 - XI.41, MiA, Tula Area / Battle of Moskow

Priv. Konstantinov Petr Aleksandrovich, 1923 - 05.IX.42, DoW, Mga / Leningrad front

 

And husband of his sister:

Priv. Rogachov Andrey Petrovich, 1902 - 29.VIII.42, DoW (head injury) / Stalingrad front

 

Elder brother of my another gran-grandfather:

Priv. Gorshkov Petr Nikitovich, 1921 - VI.41, MiA, Ivano-Frankovsk (Western UkrainianSSR).

 

One more gran-grandfather:

Priv. Bubnov Fedor Kalinovich, 1909 - 1996, severely wounded on 20.X.42 in Stalingrad. 

He was the only survival veteran of my family.

 

I like Bf110, but I just cant paint this swastika. 

 

I'm sorry in advance if I in any way insult you. That is not my purpose here.

It's just that you cant paint swastica and you give this as a reason. The fact that you have had many of your familymembers die in a WW2 against Germany?

 

I cind of understand that and then again not at all. Well to be strickt I understand it but it's not good enough reaso for me. I have many of my family members die in WW2 against Russia and I have no problem with

Russian star. There is no difference at all so I do not understand what did the swastiga do to you.

 

If you want to hate something then hate the Nazi ideology. That all other exept pure arian Germans are trash and not even humans, because that cind of thinking is dangerous.

It just seems to me that people are searching for something to blaim that is easy. Hate swastica and you can think and act like Nazis if you just dont use the symbol.

The fact is still that Swastiga was and still to some degree is a symbol of Finnish airforce, Indian religion etc.

 

Adding to that. There has been millions of people killed and treated as animals wearing a Russian star, American star and couintles other symbols. Symbols did not do those things, people did, people with ideologies.

 

You can ofcourse paint or not paint the symbol on your own skins. I am not saying anything else. I also am sorry for the loss that your family has had to endure. As I said. I dont mean to insult or start a fight.

It just seems to me that even today there is a man running to be the president of the united states of america and spilling the same hate filled ideology that Hitler did and knowone pats an eye, but holy sacred sacriligion, there's a swastiga in a plane at a game that tryes to represent history accurately.

To me this is the real outrage, not the symbol that was simply inosent of the things that was made in it's name. As inosent as the cross that Jeesus allegedly hanged on. Same thing. A symbol of hate, burnings, massmurder etc but no one tryes to deny that.

1. Against Nazism, not only in Germany. I have many friends from Germany, and have no problem. One of my friend have a grandfather, who was involved in close-combat in Stalingrad, same as my grandfather. I am standing against ideology, simbol of wich is swastika.

 

2. There is a difference. Just short list: >25 millions of people killed (including 1/4 of population of Belarus only). Concentration camps. Scorched earth. Lelingrad blocade. 80 000 killed in one day in augest 1942 in Stalingrad - the first fire storm in history, looong before Hamburg. SOAP, MADE OF HUMAN FAT. SHOES, MADE OF HUMAN SKIN. Should I continue? In short - difference is, that Nazi ideology want to eleminate, destroy, kill all those who were declared not fit to live with "Clear nation".

 

 

3. Its ME and MY people were "sub-humans". We were going to be annihilated. Not You and Your people. Stalin was veeeeery mercifull in case of Germany in 1945. After that they have done with his country and his people. Very mercifull. 

 

4. Baron von Rosens' swastika and Hitler's swastika have same origin.

 

5. Animals, You say? You may not know - BBC dont will not ever talk about - that Red Army was the only army in WWII, where murdering and maraudering, and other war crimes  were very hardly punished and strictly forbidden by HQ. All who denied it were punished. "Western Democracies" never cared about that. Bombing Calais with 1000 bombers? No problem. I dont even speak about german cities bombed-out completely. Pforzheim, Dresden, many of them on the last stages of war. Killing for killing. More bllod to the god of blood. It was only "silly Red Army", that saved Krakow (Poland) from destruction by Einsatzkommando's. Saved Wien from destruction. Should I continue?

 

Swastika is a simbol of ideology, that was going to annihilate, totally annihilate my country and my nation (and many others, starting with jews and gypsies). In honour of all fallen, I will never tribute to those who want to do it. Thats why I will never paint it.

I have looked for other pics but could not find any. That surprised me as the 109's did at one stage have mottling camouflage so I thought there would be pics of 110's also but it appears to be rare then.

There are no African theaters or operations in IL-2 outside of 1946 - if there were I'm sure that we'd see people flying under the banners of Africa-deployed Staffeln and Gruppen.
