Saitek Switch panels

Are they not a FSX EXCLUSIVE>? , you would be better off emailing Saitek and asking them.

Nope....They work with Xplane10 Also.  Its actually up to 777 if they want to make them work. Not to sure how much work is involved but I would really REALLY appreciate it!

How is up to Saitek when they say on their URL "The Switch Panel is exclusive to FSX and will not function in other flight simulators. However, for FS2004 users there is a third party driver plug-in that can be downloadedfrom our forum. ", its not up to 777 at all.

But for functions like landing gear lights, since BoS dont come with some kind of "devicelink"

dont expect that work like in FSX...

Heya

 

So I purchased the Switch Panel and HAVE got it to work with any flight sim.  

 

I'm using the switch panel for War Thunder and I'll use it for BOS also.

TL:DR Version: Someone made a Java applet that detects the switches and outputs normal key presses. ie the gear lever now outputs 'G' when you flip it. You then set 'G' to toggle gear in whatever game you are playing. You get the idea.

 

No on panel landing gear lights tho. Just input from the panel to the game.

Those Saitek switch panels were one of the biggest let downs ever in my years of simming. If someone made a workaround to get them to work that's awesome.

Guess I should have read the Fine print!! Thanks for pointing that out sop. As the others have said we can get them to work with other games but if the game engine has something like "devicelink" built into it, it makes it much easier. No wonder I haven't seen it working with other games!! Stupid Exclusive Crap! Im with U Jason I LOVE Them in FSX and Xplane But I found it a huge let down that that's all I can get it to work with.

 

Going to follow the links above! I want to use them in War Thunder and IL2 1946 BAD!
