Bearcat Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Wow... there is so much stuff in here I will have to do this piecemeal because the forum will not allow me the required number of quotes.. Thanks, I replied. WT doesn't even count does it. I completely disagree with you about BOM, there was plenty of content and it would've been released months ago (ceterus paribus), we cannot say to what state but I'm pretty sure a lot would've been sorted out in that time. BOS is 30% ready though. I beg to differ. A year ago this time BoM was still more rumor than fact and certainly not as much a certainty as BoS at this time. The only sure thing that existed about BoM was that it was going to be built on the CoD engine .. I suggest you read some of your own posts in the linked thread. You being "pretty sure" about what would or would not be sorted out with BoS is just hyperbole when juxtaposed against my being pretty sure that 6 months from now I will be flying in a finished or almost finished BoS. BoM discussion @ bananna Actually it's not, just look up the definition of 'lie' yourself and you can see that there is nothing incorrect in the language I chose. The post was deleted all the same and I received a PM about that. Given that I'm a customer who hasn't received anything for my money yet, and that money has left my account therefore is funding these very forums then I'm even more unhappy now than I was yesterday. It's not that I expect a full game or anything, I'm happy with running my very large Air Group in COD and we have plenty to do, it's just I don't like something being implied at the point of exchanging real money and then finding the deal isn't near what you had expected which is what a lot of people have found here. If 777 are unhappy with the response to the point of warning/threatening their own customers of 'consequences' then they should look to themselves and perhaps consider an alternative medium where they can handle customer complaints, like any normal, decent company would. Out of interest, how exactly would I get a refund? Does anybody know? Your post was removed because you said that the devs lied.. That will not be allowed here because whether technical or not as a premium founder you will have early access. Whether or not you can actually access that access is not the point.. We're all customers who haven't received any thing yet. That's cos the game isn't out yet.As for definitions of the word 'lie', That is what is happening, isn't it? I guess you could argue they 'created a misleading impression' as we all assumed it'd be unrestricted, but really, all they said was that founders would get early access to the game in autumn. That it is different from how we had hoped is not necessarily their fault though, is it?This forum does allow people to complain, but we don't allow people to badmouth a team that does good work and tries to be as open as possible. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This Some people seem to miss the point here. Personally, I don't care if the "early access" version will be next to totally unplayable at this stage. This is not the point. The point is how the marketing people for the project went around the DEFINITION of what exactly that "early access" implies... And what's a big win from their side is the fact that you can't actually accuse them of lying... Heck, they could even make more live streaming of the game process and call THIS an "access". Or just post something like "please come to our studio on these and these days, and line up in a queue (and I'm pretty sure we WILL have a virtual "queue", since there are over 3000 people who payed the Premium out there)". Once again, access granted, you are welcome. Lesson learned. I hope this will make customers less trusting to vague formulations of people asking for money from now on. Since recently there are no enthusiasts anymore, only people who will try to talk away as much money off of you as they possibly can, whatever nice motives they will tell you about... As of now, the whole pre-order matter feels more like a lottery. For example, when I pre-ordered ArmA 3, I actually GOT my early access and the retail price went twice to what I'd paid for the early access. So, it was more than worth it. But here... I can't even have a small and crippled offline demonstrator! What's the reason against providing it to us? Instead, we are forced to short online windows on laggy (no pun intended) servers. And after the sim is out, any new buyers will get it for the same price as I did, thanks to the inflation rate. Way to go, comrades! That's a great way to treat your "founders"... I would support an enthusiastic simulation developer anytime, but I really don't like being cheated. Even if the cheating is based on abusing the difference between my understanding of terms and the actual vendor's interpretation. This means creating a EULA on every goddam word, and taking everything to court... Do we really live in this kind of world already? Vague? There was nothing vague at all about this.. We were told we were getting early access .. and we are .. Nowhere were we told we would get limited or unlimited access. The fact that it is limited does not override the fact that it is early and it is still access. As for the enthusiasts part of your post.. Yes you are right about that because a true enthusiast would have said the equivalent of "This sucks.. but since you took the time to explain it to me, and while I don't like it I do get it.. the product is not yet ready for more open access.. the security is not ready so I sure would hate for someone who was just a hanger on to have access to something that I dropped my hard earned cash for and after all since I am an enthusiast and I know I will eventually be getting the full product I paid for at a less expensive rate than had I waited.. and I also know that this limited access period will not last long and I will eventually have my more expansive early access and this before the final release .. PLUS I do get my extra planes I paid for and mods that I won't have to work for ... and I will be paying less than anyone who buys this once it is released ... I will just try to do what I can when I can and hopefull this will pass quickly if all my fellow enthusiasts do their part.. " In all this brohuha db has behaved about the classiest and most adult out of the lot of folks who are beyond disappointed . because let's face it.. We all are disappointed.
URUAker Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The 109 with the founders skin look sooo sexy! Can´t stop looking at it. I understand those that feel upset, most ppl are giving valid points. Flat spin man, don´t take this the wrong way, but it did seemed like you were showing some customers the exit door 1
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Are you guys serious? Are you really continuing the diary debacle of #38 into this thread as well? Do me a favour; use the old diary thread... or.. just start a new thread called "debate about Early access" or something... rediculous really... Edited November 2, 2013 by F19_Klunk 3
Bearcat Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 ISo, TAIWF, what is the empirical definition of 'early access'? I shouldn't bother with this, but I'm getting annoyed. Firing up the alpha whenever I feel like (when I got one)? At least in an online mode (which will be next to useless anyway). You have some other definition? That is YOUR definition of early access.. The actual definition of "early access" is Having access to something earlier than the majority. As I said in my previous post, the devs said nothing about limited or unlimited early access .. they just said early access .. and that is what we will get. Considering where the development is I'd say they did their best to keep their word .. because they could have just said ... "It isn't ready so we will have to move our timetable back.. " but then they would have been accused of being liars and cheats... oh .. waitaminnit... It's not about "not being suitable for me", it's about playing on people's belief of what they would get for their money and accepting it as granted to skilfully "surprise" them afterwards. Nice job, all I can say. Clearly, if the pre-order text wouldn't has been "tactically" "concise", there were way less founders. It's not my fantasy, it's given. So, to not make it happen, let's make it look we "forgot" to tell the whole story... That's what I hate. They could just ask clearly. They could say that they REALLY need money and put ALL the info about the pre-purchases, but no... It wouldn't be smart, right? Oh but it is .. apparently it seems that way.. and you continue to insinuate that the devs are being dishonest.. No, we live in a world where too many people assign too much importance to minor inconvenience. A very small investment is treated as if someome's entire life savings was risked, and the lack of perspective is turned drama far in excess of the actual situation. Cheated? What a laugh. As the sim progresses, the days of availability will expand, and more time will be available for those who chose to invest early, all the while understanding clearly that risk was involved. In fact, it will be a lot of fun watching how the sim develops, even if your work schedule limits access for awhile. Many get it, a few don't. The funny aspect to me, is to watch kids whine about a sim that depicts horrible conditions that took place during a ruthless time when young pilots were dealing with death and loss every day of their lives. They certainly are too busy thinking about themselves to consider context. The answer to your question is that "kind of world we live in" is very, very easy. Lets try to keep the politics out of this.. I know you meant well... @Victory205 "Kids whine"? For me it looks more like kids start calling names whilst running low on valid arguments... Next time your flat gets robbed or you get swindled, behave like an adult - do nothing. If you find $90 easy to shell out on words, well, you are quite a rich fellow. Why don't you help the devs so that for you it would feel as quite a loss too then? Well, am I the only one who feels cheated? Probably you should read the thread more carefully then... People are disappointed on the underdelivery here. And it would be ok, if that was on the software part itself. But it's rather on the people treatment part. Oh please.. What is happening here is not comparable in any way shape or form to being robbed. You act as if this is going to be the permanent state of things.. it isn't... and in the end you will have the sim you bought at a lesser price than if you took your marbles and went home .. because I guarantee you that all of you crying about a refund would wind up right back here within the first week of the sim being released.. Or you'd come back scurrying under the door trying to get back in before the cut off for the lesser price .. being so thrifty and money conscious and all. That second quote is just silly. I thought we were all helping the devs by buying the dadblamed thing early ... whether that was our primary intent or not. I can't believe some of the comments I'm reading here, accusing the developers of lying, cheating and some other disingenious motives. Over what? Because you've preordered the game at a discounted overall price including some extras, an element of which is early access to the game in development? And because that same development effort necessitates that access be restricted for some time you're stomping your feet and making such strong accusations over and over again? You lot don't deserve to even carry the founder's badge. You're not helping the development effort with your childish rages and I'm seriously annoyed how much room you're allowed to occupy here. You should be given your money back and banned from all founder's topics, your behaviour is an indication you're not capable of dealing with the realities of Alpha and Beta versions of the game (i.e. bugs) anyway. So please do the majority here a favour and stay away and don't any longer pretend to be a supporter of the genre. You'll still find plenty to complain when you'll have bought the release version of the game at full price. MAC Is it only me or this smells of fascism? Do you understand what you have written there? Not to mention that I clearly stated that I'm perfectly ok with bugs... I can't believe there are people like this in here... Oh, my... It doesn't really matter what was done when, since we are talking about the current case of a vague promise made the way that would appeal to more people than there were know they all the truth behind the promise. Let's suppose I'm wrong. Why withhold the information then? OK my friend you need to chill out ..... today. It is only you. ENOUGH OF THIS. Please think before you post.
Trident_109 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Thanks developers. The 109 looks grand. I can't wait to see her in the skies above Stalingrad.
z0ttel Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Thanks for the update. Looking forward to start flying soon. Btw., will there be the possibility to pre-load the game before the 12th or how is it ensured that the servers don't die when everyone is loading the files? Glad to see that that skin was voted - I liked it from the start. Have a nice weekend!
Rodolphe Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) ... Hey guys, there's a poll. Everyone can vote, gives them a voice, and no discussion about what who thinks someone else should or should not think, do or talk about, no votes discounted, all fair and square. So vote here: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/1780-early-access-tue-thu-how-do-you-feel-about-it/ and get on with live. There are better things to do with live than to convince someone on the internet he's wrong, aren't there?Just a suggestion, of course. JtD, actually your poll about the "Early access Tue-Thu" has been LOCKED ! Any given reason, JtD ? ... Edited November 2, 2013 by Rodolphe
JtD Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 No. Hm. Maybe it was considered outdated? Makes my suggestion look rather stupid, I guess. Sorry folks, I didn't know.
Rjel Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Are you guys serious? Are you really continuing the diary debacle of #38 into this thread as well? Do me a favour; use the old diary thread... or.. just start a new thread called "debate about Early access" or something... rediculous really... As eager as I am for BoS to arrive, it's really a small part of my life. Certainly not as big a part as those who are creating it. Who's livings depend on it. I'm just a customer. My right to "demand" anything only reach as far as my next purchase. To this point, I'm satisfied with the progress shown. In a recent post someone suggested we were adults here. I wonder. 1
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 It should go WITHOUT saying that EARLY ACCESS to a GAME means you CAN NOT EXPECT everything to be in there, NOT EVEN THE BASICS! So to those who say they are disappointed, allow me to suggest that no mater the state of the game you would have been disappointed! Why? Because it is clear that some of you had un-realistic expectations from something that is clearly PRE-BETA! Anyone can sit there and FOCUS on the things you are not getting! But I challenge you to take 5 min out of your day and think about all the things you will be able to do! It is not that hard to do! I for one will be happy just to taxi that beautiful 109 out onto the run way and take it for a spin (pun intended). Listen to the sound of the motor, and check out the scenery. Your mileage may, and clearly for some, does vary. And keep in mind, the devs did NOT promise you anything other than EARLY ACCESS, which as noted above does NOT mean a fully functional game.. Not by a long shot by anyones definition! 1
dburne Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I wondered that exact thing. Real stress must cause a total shutdown. Ok guys, I really am done with this but I am going to say one more thing as no one else seemingly will and then I am out of here. It has been over 7 hours since any sort of negative post on the issue that has been predominantly displayed both here and last week's DD. Now step back and take a look , do you seriously not realize that all these posts like the above , and some above it, are doing is rubbing salt in the wound and likely will result in even more of this behavior? Sometimes that outrageous childish behavior some refer to , is actually caused and fueled by those referring to it to begin with. Not picking on you HeavyCalvarySgt, just using as an example as there are many examples and I am too lazy to multi-quote. 7 hours gang, it had silenced, let it go, let it slip away... no one needs last word here. Just my parting words of wisdom fwiw. You guys have fun, and try to behave. Regards,
DD_bongodriver Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I know right, so bloody annoying, you just want to see a new simulator emerge into the hobby because it's been stale for 10 years and for some reason people complain like their lives depend on it, same hysteria that made Clod go down the tubes. BTW ACE, it's not really that anybody has been expecting a fully functional game, the big issue has been about mid week only access for a month or so, some people just wont be able to use the time because of their real life schedules, so in fairness it's genuinely a disappointment for them and we should be at least slightly sympathetic as most of us have been getting pretty excited to get our hands on a first glimpse.
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 the big issue has been about mid week only access for a month or so, some people just wont be able to use the time because of their real life schedulesYour saying that is the biggest issue? The mid week only? Man I find that hard to belive, because I know I can and will MAKE TIME! Than again, I am a flight sim nut! And I know true nuts like me will make time! Sure it sucks, that I will have to move a few things around time wise.. But disappointed? Not in the least! In that I get to play a game that is not due out for 7+ months and thus I will be able to provide feedback on it 7+ moths earlier! 1
DD_bongodriver Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Honestly yes, I don't think I actually heard anybody complain because they though the full game was being released early, it's great for us guys who will find the time for sure, not sure we can use our own lives to make a benchmark for anyone else's though.....somehow doesn't sound fair.
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 life is not fair.. And if REAL LIFE gets in the way of SIM LIFE Well good! Because that is how it should be! 1
DD_bongodriver Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Never thought of it that way, why should we feel sorry for anyone who has a life you're right, screw you guys with lives!!! leave this stuff to us
DD_fruitbat Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I bought the premium to get the Fw190 and La5, being able to have a bimble in a LaGG3 early on is a bonus from my point of view.
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Never thought of it that way, why should we feel sorry for anyone who has a life you're right, screw you guys with lives!!! leave this stuff to usBingo! On that note, many confuse 'being realistic' with 'being heartless' If your life is such that you can NOT take a few hours off during the week to play a game.. As in your job needs you, or your pets need you, or your significant other needs you, or your kids need you.. Don't focus on the negative.. i.e. I CANT PLAY A GAME! Spend a moment and realize how wonderful it is to be 'needed' in this world! So again, I am not heartless, I am a realist! Also don't focus on my saying 'fully functional game' in that I was NOT trying to imply that is why people are upset! My point was it should go WITHOUT saying that EARLY ACCESS to a GAME means you CAN NOT EXPECT everything to be in there NOT EVEN THE BASICS! Edited November 2, 2013 by ACEOFACES 2
DD_bongodriver Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Anyway, I just think it would help keep the peace here if we at least pretended to have hearts.
=LD=Hethwill Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Strangely this "skin" look familar, doesn't it Salute ! 1 week to go.
Bearcat Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 In fairness though, the biggest complaint has been from those that are unable to play in the middle of the week, and the fact that they weren't told about this restriction beforehand. Their complaint is that when they were persuaded to part with their cash for the Premium version, which they thought would give them early access, they weren't told that the early access would be limited to the middle of the week. Their grievance is based on the fact that they weren't told that early access would be limited to specific days they would be unable to play. Now listen up, I'm not criticising the devs for making the early access a limited 3 day period, but I can see how, because they didn't explicitly state that the early access would be limited to three days in the middle of the week, some people would feel like they had been encouraged to part with cash to buy the Premium Edition when, if they had been furnished with all the facts they may have made a different decision. No matter how the devs or the mods try and justify the reasoning behind the decision made, it is the communication that is at fault. The moderators are doing a great job, but their hands are tied because the developers either held back some vital information or changed their plans after they had already sold a load of Premium Editions. Communication is key and I think that 777 and 1C have made a mistake. I wish they had someone in their employ that better understood their audience that could have helped communicate this better. With better communication from the outset there would have been none of the bad feeling we are seeing now. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Yes but Simon... This is all assuming that the devs knew when they announced the pre order that the early access would be limited. There is simply no way for us to know that .. and I for one, given the track record of this team and the stellar way this thing has unfolded over the past 11 months chose to take them at their word when considering everything that I posted in the "Developer Responses " thread.. anyone who has started a household project be it plumbing, electrical, landscaping or other can attest to the fact that STUFF HAPPENS to alter the course and time frame of just about any project.... How much more so on a project of this nature. I could see more people being this upset if the devs had said "If you buy premium you will get total 24/7 early access to the sim whatever state it is in." That is not what they said.. they said early access.. and that is indeed what we have. Most of us .. myself included assumed that that would be something like a downloaded copy of the Alpha to fly on our PCs at our leisure ... WE assumed that .. the devs never said that. They never promised that. They never sold that. I could see people being this upset .. if that was all that was offered by ordering Premium over Standard.. That too .. is NOT the case. Those of us who bought Premium will get two additional aircraft as promised when they are available and I will be surprised if the cost of those aircraft when released is less than the extra $40 we paid for Premium. Also.. considering what will actually be available to those who do get to fly it.. I mean ... really..? Really!!?? Just the security piece alone that Jason mentioned made me go... Oooo Kaaay. I also want to comment on what Dan said.. we all need to calm down. It is not just the ones who are upset about this .. but those of us who do not see the problem in the same light as others also need to step back and take stock. Hopefully by now everyone has vented .. and we can let it all roll on because like it or not as I have said more times than I care to count on this issue.. It is what it is. It won't change until such time as the devs get whatever it is they need to take it to the next level.. so I suggest all of us who can, do what we can to kick in where and when we can to make that happen. If we can't then we just need to suck it up and wait till such time as things change. I can sit here now and say with all gusto "I will MAKE time.." but I don't know if that will happen or not.. because I have no clue what the next few weeks will bring between Tuesday and Thursday. I will do my damndest to get in at least some kind of stick time during this phase, even if I have to give up a little sleep, loose a little prime time.. wives and kids get over this stuff.. it isn't like this will be an ongoing thing... In any case if I do not get to spend more than 3 hours over the next 6-8 weeks with this then so be it.. I do know that whatever happens I will have early access to the full sim when it is close to finished.. and I will have early access to the Alpha starting in a few weeks. I will have to do what I can to utilize that access. That is what I paid for.
FuriousMeow Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) but I can see how, because they didn't explicitly state that the early access would be limited to three days in the middle of the week, some people would feel like they had been encouraged to part with cash to buy the Premium Edition when, if they had been furnished with all the facts they may have made a different decision. A different decision as in paying more 7 months from now without ever having any early access and having to unlock items that premium pre-orders do not? There's still a premium edition on release day, and it will cost more and have less than what was purchased as a pre-order prior to today. Edited November 3, 2013 by FuriousMeow
FlatSpinMan Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Fair points all. Can we all just change topic for a bit? We won't have weapons, but do you suppose the LaGG DM will be ready?
FuriousMeow Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Some effects will be place holders from what I understand from Zak earlier in this thread. I think it'll still be interesting, I love the plane interactions with terrain in RoF and will be neat to see it with all metal airframes (will there be airframe bending or just parts snapping off? the wood frames in RoF can rotate and twist and "bend" without breaking off). That's why I inquired regarding the DM/collision model of the LaGG and how complete it was - which apparently it is, just missing some of the visual effects. I probably won't have time to check it out until mid-December, but will be watching with interest for information here from those that will get the opportunity to do so. DD_Arthur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Be cool if the devs could put in TWO pylons somewhere on the map so we could do some racing! That's a great idea!! It's either that or a LaGG display team!

No kidding, although I am sure we saw the dev's crash the Lagg's more than the 109, so the pressure will come from the plane itself...and the Soviet authorities, what would the penalty be for a foreigner breaking a Lagg anyway? Half Vodka ration for a night and slap on the wrist?

hiro Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the big update . . . Well the punishment meted out for loosing a Lagg depends how close you are to the squadron's or your airbase's political officer or how close your family is to stalin (or high up in the hierarchy) . Always befriend the supply guys and cooks. It's harder for me to get pure neutral tasting water (unless its winter) than vodka. I will need to speed up my schedule for a new PC (or just build a dual core one) . . . I like the project planning its well . . . Thanks bear for doing the dev responses in the pinned thread . . . helps to ease the dis information campaigns attempted I'll test the DM model . . . for sure . . . probably on the ground objects or another plane (if there is one to be found and closed in upon) . Not to worried about the guns . . . as eventually we'll be able to use them. I like the post where someone mentioned about the devs being patient and concerned about releasing the game when its ready, even if it means delaying early access or even game release. Measure twice (or more) and cut once . . . a great model that's overlooked heavily in modern times. As for the "mis-communication" and fairness issue, I don't think the devs missed that one. Even though the root is limited play during the middle of the week, blaming the devs for not stating this and some getting bent outta shape when they learned it isn't a mis fire on the dev's part. Early access always means beta or alpha play and it's general knowledge that getting early access to play AND alpha, beta, or prototype means limited access, crashes or what not. Test pilots know testing a prototype could result in death, just as stuntman realize something can go wrong and change the lives of them and their audience forever. it's hilarity to see how people acting like they paid and didn't get the game. That's the level of response those dudes and dudettes are leveling at the devs. And that's just the way the cookie crumbles Edited November 3, 2013 by hiro
FuriousMeow Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I will need to speed up my schedule for a new PC (or just build a dual core one) . . . I would highly recommend you do not settle on a dual core processor. This engine will make excellent use of multiple cores, and a quad will yield significantly better performance across the board over a dual core. Purchasing a dual core these days is actually throwing away money, definitely go with a quad core.
DD_Arthur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I would highly recommend you do not settle on a dual core processor. Purchasing a dual core these days is actually throwing away money, definitely go with a quad core. Agree completely. I recently went from 3.4ghz dual core to 3.4ghz quad. The difference in RoF was startling. Money well spent.
Bearcat Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I agree as well. I upgraded a year ago to an 8150 (since sold that and got an 8350) but I have had no issues running anything at all. My AMD rig was great bang for the buck.
DD_bongodriver Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Fair points all. Can we all just change topic for a bit? We won't have weapons, but do you suppose the LaGG DM will be ready? We will have trees to test the theory out on.
=BKHZ=Furbs Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 We will have trees to test the theory out on. And each other. And the Earth.
AnaRasanen Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 And each other. And the Earth. Yes, my greatest concern is have the devs won the challenge of modelling realistic ground which breaks planes when hit.
FlatSpinMan Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 That cracked me up. Pun not really intended, but not unintended.
Uufflakke Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 We won't have weapons, but do you suppose the LaGG DM will be ready? We will have trees to test the theory out on. Or do some nice "Aerial Ramming". Soviet pilots called it "Taran". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerial_ramming
Pupo Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) im not sure if you guys are aware, but there will be no multiplayer in the first sessions, confirmed by one of the devs in the DD38, somewhere near the end. So no Tarans, no air races, nothing other than clipping trees. http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/1763-developer-diary-part-38/?p=43606 Edited November 3, 2013 by E69_Pupo
