reddog=11blueleader* Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Hello pilots I have been away from BOS for many months ( almost a year) and I was early access. My BOS is way behind on updates and was just wondering if you still have to unlock a mission before you move to the next in the campaigne mode? I lost interest as soon as it was released and found out about the unlocks, it was not mentioned during building of the game. I guess you would say I am a realist when it comes to combat flight sims. (Games). That is what I like about ROF.
ShamrockOneFive Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The unlocks are still present but the devs have come up with a compromise. If you have Premium edition (or if you bought Standard and later bought the FW190 and La5) then you can go into your account on the website and check the unlock button and access all of the equipment. You'll still need to play the campaign to unlock the skins that come with the game (of course you can always download the third party ones now too).
Sokol1 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) My BOS is way behind on updates and was just wondering if you still have to unlock a mission before you move to the next in the campaigne mode? From SP point of view: You need do the first 3/4 missions with LaGG-3 to "unlock" thew Bf-109 and then play the campaign in any side (or both simultaneous/alternate), you can skip a given mission - some don't make sense, like make level bombing (He-111, Pe-2) in some artillery position at night... But to gather the points/XP to progress in the campaign chapters is need finish the missions with success. The missions are the same in all chapters, just vary the places, and as your pilot "level up" the enemy forces too. The Veteran66, Juri... single missions can give you good SP experience.
