It’s the feast of the Magi tomorrow, which is the equivalent of Xmas in the Eastern Orthodox Church. If we get anything it’ll have to come from Jason.

Well, since the development team is enjoying well-deserved time off for the holidays, I guess I can pitch in so that the community won't have to do without a DD. So here goes nothing...

Hello everybody,

BoK release is shaping up for the end of winter, although in certain parts of Russia it's impossible to tell when winter has ended and therefore we can't give you a time frame for when it will be released. Work continues on the Career mode and we're making good progress in deciding upon post-career retirement benefits for players completing career mode.

The new Coop multiplayer mode is shaping up nicely, and we're very excited about the pub that we've included so that an entire group can congregate after a Coop mission and get stumbling, falling down drunk. Whether you prefer vodka or beer, a good time is in store for all. We've even included a jukebox, featuring popular Russian and German songs of the 1930s and 1940s, as well as a billiards table and dart board.

A number of exciting new aircraft that have yet to be announced are reaching completion of their development cycle, and we're all very excited. However, don't get worked up, as we've decided to keep them exclusively for members of the development team. We will, however, show you screenshots of the aircraft that you can't have from time to time, so there's that to which you can look forward.

Alpha testing for version 3.001 continues, and we expect that it will be completed sometime toward the end of winter. Winter in Russia, that is. Up around Norilsk. So as soon as we figure out when winter ends there, if it ever does, we'll let you know more about version 3.001.

I think they wait until next Friday and then announce the redrawal of Bodenplatte caused by new information on Pacific, They found a unlimited source of materal about JApanese aircraft and will go Pacific instead

I have heard that in the new career mode you get a new medal whenever you do well in a mission but the extra weight means you need more & more runway to get off the ground and the plane becomes very sluggish in dogfights so you have to carry fewer bombs and bullets.   Kind of a natural handicapping system

I think they're not going to show new things they're developing, but rather stuff they already showed us earlier in rough state, now in more developed state (or finished). Think Co-op or campaign, mixed with closer look to graphic improvements, as they showed us the planes previously.

I always assumed that FC and TC would eventually get their own subforum. Whether they DDs become separate for each product or not remains to be seen.

I understood work will take place parallel (different teams), with less to do (mainly conversion of existing assets to new engine) I would guess Flying Circus would be earlier release, but only a guess
