Jason said releasing any planes before the next big patch would further delay the Kuban release patch.

As the release is late anyway, I wouldn't mind waiting a little bit longer if it meant getting a new plane today.

 

That's not a shot at the team, by the way, I'm not a programmer and I'm sure they have technological demons to face that I am unaware of.

They're in that final push to the finish line mode now. They may have overshot by a few weeks, but probably better at this stage to let them push ahead and get it done, rather than break up the build, potentially introducing more bugs and delays while they get fixed.

In complete agreement. Often its valuable to push a build out to the community but with the number of things they are pushing down the line (Career and Co-op) plus the engine updates and the sheer depth of new content... I'm sure from a software point of view it makes no sense to release now.

 

We're weeks away folks. We've waited this long. We can wait longer.

 

I'm not sure if we'll see a dev update this week or not. It's the holidays and we're getting into orthodox Christmas (widely celebrated in Russia) on January 7th so we may not hear too much from them for a couple of weeks although I recall in the past that they have posted the odd update.

Time to bump this thread back to its rightful place, the front page :salute: .

 

I wonder what the topic will be this week? I'd love to have more info on Flying Circus & Bodenplatte, but a more plausible guess might be either skins and their history, or performance info for Kuban planes.

 

In any case, waiting for Friday's weekly little dose like an addict.

well, we saw so much cool stuff in last weeks vid, the only thing missing was the Po2. So i'm guessing we might see stuff about that.

More details about the career mode. How the squadron roster works, what the specific types of missions are, what data are tracked from mission to mission, maybe an example of what a mission route looks like on the map?

We already know that the Spit 9 and Bf 109 G-14 will be the first planes released.

 

As for the DD, devs are all on holiday aren't they? I'm not expecting one this week.

BOK isnt even out yet. I highly doubt they will post anything about Bodenplatte until BOK is launched and patched.
