Never game updates on a Friday. They tried on a Thursday many years ago and when it all went pear shaped, people had to work over the weekend to do hotfix. Ever since always the first half of the week.

Thanks Kendo. I thought as much - hmm - this could still be a niggling long term thing though.........probably too hot to paint.....funny light too come to think of it.....

Suppose they could sprinkle a little fairy dust, push a button and convert IL-2 1946 maps & aircraft into IL-2 GB!

I guess that wouldn't make for many jobs, but I'd be happy to set up a monthly subscription payment.

Actually the glorious Arado Blitz update was released on June 15.....on a Friday.

Usually they drop mid-week (as I think it gives them a few days to collect bug reports and prepare what hotfixes they can do quickly). So I'd be more optimistic about sometime next week.

 

A DD or 'Officer Club & Briefing Room' post is plausible for today - but isn't guaranteed given the pace of work that might be going on to finish testing etc.

Erm...maybe in Romania it was very early friday morning already but for the rest of the world, june 15 fell on a wednesday.

Actually June 15th was a Wednesday....according to my Windows calendar anyway.

 

But actually, actually I checked the announcements and the Arado was released on June 14th, a Tuesday   ?

Hahaha. I checked the calendar and it was on a Friday....but I was in the wrong month.?

I think one of the patches this year came on a Friday. I'll have to check that... but maybe I need a cup of wake the F up before that.

I labour every weekday, so I'm fine with anything that leaves next weekend for me to try out Normandy.

 

(Though the sooner the better; I can always sneak in a couple of minutes in the Mission Editor to marvel at the new map )
